DAVAO consulate???

hi. I would like just to know if the US Consulate in Davao, Philippines is accepting application for visa? Because it was on the USCIS list but I've never seen/heard Filipino-American couples here who applied visa in Davao. Please Please Please we really need to know cuz the place where i live in is closer to davao than to manila. thanks a lot

Hi...Im not from Davao, but from Manila. I never heard of anything about filling an application to Davao. As far as I know, the USCIS forward all the papers to Manila Embassy and those applicants from the South have to go to Manila for their interview.

I have know people from Cebu and Davao who had just their interview in Manila.

If you submitted your I-129F to USCIS, they are the one who will forward your papers to NVC then to Manila Embassy.

I guess the US consulate in Davao have nothing to do with the visa approval.

yeah... thank you... can i ask another question? how did u do your chat logs? i mean did u print them as text only with the timestamps and all that? or u just took screenshots of those? my fiance and i have been chatting every day and night for almost a year now. we just couldnt afford to get RFE's.

There are many things that can cause you to receive an RFE... I can not think of any one of them that will be prevented by submitting chat logs with your initial petition....

Concentrate on providing solid evidence that will demonstrate having met within the last two years.... Chat logs do not prove this......

I didnt print our chat logs, only the snail mails, cards, pictures, 4 copies of emails from my email address with our both replies, money remittances and hotel info. But to be honest, both interviewer didnt look at them, the first interview just compiled it. But if you have chat logs, you can just print it out but dont overdue.

USE in Manila processes all visa interviews for the Philippines .. you are filing thru VSC so you will first hand knowledge of this very soon ..
