I too recommend contacting your congressman. I doubt they have any power to speed things up but they can give you some insight into what's going on, what stage of the process you're in. We got our congressman involved right before we received our NOA2 and we didn't have to call NVC for our case number, we received that from our congressman which was very nice and convenient. Hope you don't have to wait that much longer. Good luck!

I know... that’s why I ask... in July filer, still waiting... I had wedding plans in February, now in May ... but I do not even have the noa2 ... I'm losing my hope

It is honestly best not to ever plan anything until you have VOH.  There are too many places where delays can happen.  Even after the interview and approval some people have waited months for Administrative Processing.  Many here have lost thousands of dollars on plane tickets and reception deposits.  It is best to just be patient and plan everything after you have the visa.  This is a 10 to 12 month journey if things go relatively well.  I am a June 6 filer and just got NOA2 a little over a week ago.  Now we have to wait for NVC which can be months, too.  I hope to have them in the States by May but I think that June or July may also be just as possible.

My fiancé and I are still waiting. Today is 301 days and counting (no RFE or anything since our received date which is May 23rd). I'm 64 days away from hitting my year mark. So, to answer your question....yes it is possible! Just pray you are not the waiting as long myself or others.

I believe the OP question is in regards to the K1 process which from your profile you did the IR1/CR1 so while yours did take longer than expected for your process, the K1 timeframe is suppose to be shorter. IR1/CR1 waiting from NOA1 to NOA2 normal expectancy is a little over a year. K1 used to be 3-4 months but now is taking 6-8 months from NOA1 to NOA2;  however, I as well as a few others have been waiting longer than that.

My post is about k1, I know that CR1 is longest than k1.

but I don’t know what’s going on with my case... I’m july filer so is 8 months waiting.

I contact USCIS once every other week. I have submitted multiple inquiries, and I have contacted my local congressman and Senator. My case has been assigned to case officer and is under review but they cannot give me a timeframe or date on when I should expect to hear anything. I just received an email back from CSC a couple of hours ago saying the same exact thing.

According to Tier 2, my case was assigned to a case officer on 2/26/2018 but that's all I have been told. I will contacting my Senator's office on Thursday since it's been over 30 days since they reached out to USCIS, although I doubt that they will be able to get anyone to touch my case any faster than I have.

Well... now I know... I don’t have another option just wait

You can submit inquiries if you like but the inquiries don't go directly to the case officer that has your case. It goes to someone who can review the status of your case and give you an update. I learned that around my 2nd inquiry I put in. USCIS customer service is located in one part of California but they are not the CSC. They handle the calls and provide limited information as to the status of their case. FYI...you can only submit an online service inquiry every 30 days.

But in the end, yes...all we can do is wait unfortunately.

Thank you!!!... I think I'm in desperate  because my fiancé was in Texas and I saw him every 15 days, a week ago he moved to Nevada. then it will be harder to see ...
