I filed I-130 December 2016 for my wife. Submitted a response to an RFE that was received by CSC on December 22, 2017. That is 86 days ago and we are still waiting for NOA2.

This topic is mainly I-129f.

however apart from that, I think once an rfe comes up it, the processing times don't apply anymore. However, you are also outside from what they say they give a response to rfes in 60 days. I believe you already contacted them, hope it resolves fast.

A Spousal normally takes longer than a K-1. Then add in your RFE and your Country and that could account for your delay. What did they ask for in the RFE and how did you get your citizenship? All relevant and could cause delays.

If it was a simple RFE missed a box or forgot a form usually you will get an approval within 6 weeks. Which makes me curious as to what they needed from you.

Do you think that the inquiry works?

Bit of my visa journey story here......

I filed for a K1 in February 2017 (up until that point people were receiving their NOA2s within 3 months). Everything slowed......I waited and waited  (as did a lot of February filers). In July of last year the USCIS updated their processing times and I  (and several others) fell out of "normal processing times". I called USCIS the moment that happened and spoke to a very nice person who took my inquiry  (and updated it in the "notes" on the USCIS website.....the only thing that was ever updated on my online account....it still says "received February 2, 2017......my husband is sitting here with me watching an old movie right now). Anyhooo.....I digress.....

After my inquiry I received the NOA2 within 10 days.....my fellow February 2017 filers that filed online were not as lucky....they received all of those "45 days answers". Call them.....be a squeaky wheel...keep trying until you find a nice one...

thanks !!! ... I'm a beneficiary it's hard because my fiance dislikes dealing with arrogant people. the first time He called Uscis the girl was nice and told us to wait until before April 18 ... the second time he called, the girl just said "possibly before March 23” and he finally said "then is nothing certain so I have to wait "and she just said " ”yeap”.

i know I’m not the only one, we applied an inquiry and on Uscis page said this “On March 5, 2018, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRXxxx, was completed.”

I don’t know what that means

That statement means....either you were approved and your NOA2 is in the mail or that they are you are undergoing "necessary background checks".

Your fiance needs to call again  (and keep calling every other day until you receive your NOA2). You are outside processing times......use this to your advantage...

Ooo ok, just working here? Maybe they are having difficulties to check you in all those countries, it could be a valid explanation, but even so is a long wait. I'm sorry! And I'm sorry that religion can still be an issue for cases like this. Good luck!

well yes i have been to more than 20  countries and unfortunately  but i gave all my addresses and data to them i dont think that uk or canada and europe will make it difficult for them to search about me.. but i  am positive that its my religion and my family name problem,.. thats why taking so longer i will wait for them and see what they will tell me in inquiry .... thank you for your kind words

Well, they don't seem to be in a hurry to speed up the process and all we can do is wait. But let's keep the positive thoughts, all will be done in a near fufure.
