Yes she is a college going girl 17 yrs old. Considered minor as per Visa application. I never said that she is a kid. It doesn't mean that she is a strong bond or whatever it may be. But personally she is a bond for me as she is my only daughter. But you can laugh and enjoy. Appears as if you are all waiting let's see how she gets visa. She should not get visa. She is an illegal person or a criminal.

Since Sunday afternoon, members here have spent time over the past 2 days answering your repeated questions, giving you repeated advice, clarified things you repeatedly did not understand and responded to your repeated pleas asking for suggestions on how to be approved for a visa.

Way to insult all of us here,  brush off everything we've said, and perhaps also make members feel as though their time has simply been wasted trying to help you.

But if my daughter is not a kid then if any body laughs saying that it will not support me that too by laughing clearly indicates their intention. That's why I mentioned this. Actually I got lot of help from here as I understood all positive and negative points on this site. Also how to be in future if I enters US. So I am very sorry if I hurt any person who tried to help me in any way. I think it was a long talk with you all and now I will stop here and will just try to reapply with your all blessings.

The employer who provided me offer asked me to do so till I get stamped on my passport. That later she will provide me if I will return and continue work. In a school I took care of kids along with others.

That is definitely illegal, paid or not.

Where did you see anyone laughing at you?  If you are talking about this symbol that someone else used just earlier--- :P ----- that person was making fun of THEMSELF for misreading something earlier stated in this thread.  They were not speaking to or speaking of you in any way.

Ok. I understood that it was illegal. It was also quite difficult for me to work leaving my 1 yr old daughter. I learned from this mistake. Past can't be changed but I will never repeat such things in my life. Thank you!

Ok. Now I understood and very sorry for this misunderstanding.

Yes unfortunately US authorities won’t see it that way. What they will see is that you worked illegally, period.

does this question come up on the DS160? It’s been ages since i filled one out.

Unfortunately the past cannot be erased as well.

The CO won't care that you promise never to do it again, or that you had a young child at the time----they will only see your past history of working illegally in addition to the already uphill battle you are facing.

Question regarding employment needs to be filled out accurately.  I'm sure they have ways of discerning whether anything was left out on the form, though, as they are trained in spotting inconsistencies.

It’s also an obvious question to ask in interview of someone who spent a year “visiting” there.

It's good that there is no such question in DS -160. As per your advise I will even never mention this to CO as this will go against me. As per me as I had H1 I thought it's legal to work but my employer might never have mentioned such thing anywhere which may go against her. So as per the records its not mentioned anywhere.

WHERE did I tell you not to mention it? The only advice I will give about an interview is ALWAYS BE TRUTHFUL. NO exceptions. If you get caught lying or materially misrepresenting something to a consular officer you could face a lifetime ban from the US.

i think it’s quite likely that they will ask you about any work you may have done in your year in the US, and they are trained in interview techniques, including spotting lies. You’re yet again changing your story here (before you worked while you were visiting, now it’s while you had a H1) honestly if you can’t be honest and forthright here and you keep changing your story, there’s no point trying to help. Please update us after the interview.

You recently applied for a visa, what did they ask you then, I would expect something similar and maybe why have you come back so soon.

I will fill the form accurately. But this thing is never asked in the form. So this will not create any problem. I will also not mention this while interview.

Yes I was asked in this interview " Why was my H1 rejected? I replied " I was  asked to submit the details of other employees. But I was unable to get them as my employer said that if she will provide them then the employees will sue on her.

Ok. If they will ask, then I will tell the truth only. Else if it is in their records they will find it out. But I will not willingly inform about this if not asked or asked some related other question.

Were you asked about it last time.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
