7/5/17 status-update: finger printing appointment was made

8/28/17 status-update: Background check done- Application in line for an interview

                waited around 4 months-no update

2/2/18 Status-Update Interview scheduled at Santa Ana office

3/14/18 Interview held- went really smooth, interviewer was great and fun guy..was quick , didn't check my tax returns although i took those with me.Just made copies of Passports, green card and ID

3/20/18 Oath Ceremony at LA convention center

so that's how my journey of citizenship ended. Hint: Oath ceremony schedule is available online-google it

Many congrats.

I'm also a N-400 paper filer and my FO is Santa Ana. I have been in line waiting for interview since 11/13/17 and no update until now. I hope they move faster in Santa Ana so you can get over this journey.
