Well Ty Cobb has told reporters the president is not considering or discussing firing Mueller so that's settled. 

His aides dragged him off to the golf course today so perhaps he's calmed down. Adult Daycare Center at work.

Firing the FBI Director after he declined to let that potential crimes by Richard Flynn go is the first instance. There are others. Interviewing witnesses ti the grand jury is suspicious.

The presidents lawyers cringe every time he tweets or speaks about shutting the investigation down. 

Why does the president want to get to these men including people he never met, off the hook?

Some people forget, or choose to ignore, that the President (any President) has the plenary power to remove those under him in the Executive Branch, including FBI directors.

Is that the same McCabe playing the victim card and asking why he was singled out?  Considering he used those words "singled out" doesn't really lead to a claim of innocence, but rather is more of a claim that others knew what he was doing (Comey, Lynch, Obama), but for some reason they are only punishing him.  The swamp is vast and wide.
