Hi, I have a question, I can't obtain the IRS transcripts online but I have the federal income tax return, can I use them instead of do I have to send both of them??? Pleaseee help

I just wanted to know if it will affect if I don't send both of them or if the federal income tax by them self and other financial document will work fine

Maybe read those instructions again carefully, then look up the definition of "or" in a dictionary.

Hi Karen - if you are using the actual tax return, you need to ensure that you have all W-2's (1099's, etc,) that you used in processing form 1040.
