Good day!

My fiancee and I are both Filipinos. He lives in u.s and me here in Philippines. We have applied for k1 fiancee visa and it has been approved by the uscis and NVC..

our problem is all notice we've recieved has a typographical error upon my surname and the address of my fiancee..We have notify NVC through a phone call and said that we should call the u.s embassy here because they have approved and forwarded already our application..so I have called up embassy hotline and email my concern, the embassy said that we should call the NVC..what should i do now?

If NVC has forwarded your case file to the Manila embassy, it is definitely out of NVC's hands now. At this point, your fiancée should be contacting the embassy as soon as the CEAC tracker says "Ready" because the case file has arrived at the embassy and it is in their possession. Calling too early would be pointless if the embassy doesn't currently have the file in their care.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

NVC approval to our petition already forwarded here in U.S Embassy Manila, just a little worried about the typo error, I have not yet schedule my appointment for interview  because of that..
