When filing out my I-129 F, I read on the instructions to put N/A if an answer is not applicable. When I tried doing that Adobe gives me an error message and doesn't allow me to use the slash, so instead of writing N/A, it comes out as NA. I thought it was because I downloaded my stuff from Google Chrome, so I tried IE instead, and there was no difference. I checked Adobe Reader for updates, and it's up to date.

- Do you think that would cause a problem? Or can I fill out my for in Adobe, leave the blank spaces blank, and then write in N/A by hand?

- Would they send it back because it was part written part typed?

- Have any of you not written N/A and had no issues ?

suggestion if you are so nervous when filling this...I-129F.  printout the form, fill it out in ink and then use your PC.  double and triple check every question and make sure to have enough evidence and signed checks or payments forms and photos. when you are really done, go and do za last check

In Adobe, go to Edit, then Preferences.  In the preferences window,  choose the "JavaScript" if it is not already highlighted.  Click the top box for "Enable Acrobat JavaScript."  This should let you type "N/A" or anything else. - Jason
