Just for clarity...

They won't care about relationship evidence for the I-129F. Just that you met within 2 years, provide the required documentation, and are otherwise eligible to petition. Providing some relationship evidence with the I-129F is frontloading your case so the CO may see and read your case before the interview. This does NOT mean that you shouldn't do it, but just clarifying that it doesn't matter for the I-129F itself. The need to do so, and degree to which it should be done, varies from case to case.

The passport-style photos are required, and must meet the requirements outlined in the instructions. This includes the glossy photo paper part. Other photos can be printed on regular paper and arranged however you want, so long as they can easily scan them after receipt (i.e. don't put them in a photobook, and I feel sorry for the low level intake worker having to remove photos from plastic sleeves).

That's good to know. So I'm guessing the proof of relationship matters more when my fiance goes for his interview ?

Yes, that is when they actually make the determination about the legitimacy of the relationship. COs from some countries are more difficult than others, so that's where front-loading helps set a positive impression of the case.

word of the wise. it's best to frontload most of the evidence so they can zip through your application. better enough evidence for easier approval. the continuos evidence of the relationship is what they want to see in the interview.

No and that is the very first time I've ever heard that.  Where did you hear that?

What if I submit say 10 pictures with my I-129F, and then when my fiance goes, we can add in more pictures because I will see him before his interview...and therefore I think that would be solid proof. Do you think they would they care if the proof of relationship pictures were added later on ?

I read it on the official USCIS website under form filing tips:

  • Use fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

again and again....its not the amount, but the substance of what you are submitting. Photos should be with your fiance in places where you meet him/her and you guys are together. Even better if in a public place that the CO can say: Oh that is so and so in blablabla

it's the ongoing proof of relationship with messages in social media, text messages, letters and so on that matter. Other proof are airfare, passport stamps and more

Front load but make it worth the weight.  Make sure the evidence is good and there is a point of diminishing returns.  Some people were talking about sending 1300 pages of texts.  That is probably more than is needed.  Give good evidence not just a lot of evidence.

i completely agree on this.  i had little evidence from the 1000 pages i had to show for, but chose the best ones to send in and i got it approved

That really depends on the pictures and the Embassy.  Some need more front loading than others.  10 good pictures is better than 50 bad ones.  Make sure they show you together and if family can be involved that helps.  Remember you are trying to prove that your relationship is real to a stranger who is trained to question the legitimacy of relationships.  Try to see your petition through the adjudicator's eyes.  10 may not be enough for some embassies.

How many pages was your entire packet approximately ? Or how many pages of proof did you have ?
