But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

You all need to do some reasearch at to what accomplishments have come out of Israel and what accomplishments Israel has done for themselves and others around the world

At the same time, let's take a look at the Palestinian "accomplishments" in Gaza since

Israel's withdrawal:

Jan 1, 2007

Abbas declares Hamas's main Gaza security force illegal, while his key security strongman,

Mohammed Dahlan, vows that for every Fatah member killed in the internecine confrontation,

his own men will kill two Hamas men.

Jan 25, 2007

Bloodletting among Palestinians in Gaza — nearly 30 have been killed since fighting erupted

between gunmen of Hamas and Fatah.

Jan 29, 2007

Mohammed Siksik, 21, from Gaza, blows himself up in a bakery in Eilat, Israel,

killing 3 people.

Feb 2, 2007

Residents of the Gaza Strip hide in their homes on Friday as armed men fight running

gun battles firing rifles and rocket-propelled grenades from streets and rooftops. Hamas

fighters overrun several compounds used by Abbas's Fatah movement, while Fatah

members storm and burn Gaza's Islamic University.

Feb 5, 2007

Saudi Arabia invites leaders of the two main Palestinian factions, Hamas and Fatah, to Mecca

for talks aimed at creating a unity government. The Bush Administration promises $86 million

in aid to shore up Abbas's support, and his fighters take delivery last week of six armored

vehicles sent via Israel and Egypt, which Hamas fears will be used against them in Gaza street

battles. Since December 2006, over 60 Palestinians have been killed and over 200 wounded

in Gaza clashes between fighters of the two movements.

Feb 7, 2007

Hamas moves its men off the streets of Gaza City, retreating to checkpoints in the Khan Yunis

camp where it holds sway. In Gaza City, militiamen under the command of Fatah security

chief Mohammed Dahlan, whose nephew was kidnapped by Hamas fighters last week, fortifies

their positions at key intersections.

Feb 15, 2007

Abbas's rival, Hamas leader and Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh, resigns. Abbas agrees to

recognise all decisions made by the 11-month old Hamas government, including the formation

of a 3,000-man, pro-Haniyeh security force that roams Gaza's dangerous streets. The

commander of this force will be a Hamas man.

Feb 16, 2007

Masked Palestinian militants from a wing of the Popular Resistance Committee linked to the

Fatah movement take part in a training display in Gaza City.

Mar 12, 2007

Gaza City: gunmen kidnap veteran BBC reporter Alan Johnston, who has lived and reported

in Gaza for the past three years.

Mar 15, 2007

Haniyeh and Abbas emerged from a final flurry of meetings in Gaza City with a deal on a

new cabinet in which Hamas will have 12 seats, Fatah will have 6 and the remaining 7 will go

to independents and members of smaller parties. They also agree on a political platform

for the new administration.

Mar 28, 2007

Hamas militants are not happy with the new unity government since it will abide by past accords

signed by the Palestinians with the Israelis. Nor is Hamas putting down its arms. Exiled Hamas

leader Khaled Mashaal warns from Algeria that Hamas has not halted its armed struggle against

Israel, and adds that Hamas is bracing for another intifadah or uprising. Israeli intelligence

officials say that in recent months Hamas and other militant groups smuggled dozens of tons

of explosives and weapons through tunnels into Gaza in preparation for a future battle with the

Israelis.

Mar 31, 2007

Palestinian Hamas militants take part in an armed exercise in Gaza. Hamas is amassing

weapons in Gaza, a 40-km-long sandy strip bordering Egypt with 1.4 million Palestinians,

many of them refugees. One Israeli official said that Hamas, using tunnels into Egypt, had

smuggled in over 31 tons of high-quality explosives, six times more than in 2005. Israelis

say that Hamas now has rockets capable of accurately striking Ashkelon, a major seaport 15km

north of Gaza.

Hamas readily admits that it receives aid from Iran but insists that the money is used for

running the Palestinian government. The State Department is trying to persuade a U.S.

Congressional delegation, now in Israel, to support the State Department's request for

$59.4 million in non-lethal military aid for Abbas.

During a Friday mosque sermon in Gaza, Haniyeh sets a three-month deadline for the

international community to recognize the new Palestinian government. Otherwise, he warns,

the militants might withdraw from the unity government and resume attacks against Israel.

Apr 10, 2007

Israeli authorities arrested 19 Palestinian militants for planning to set off a huge car bomb

in Tel Aviv over the Jewish holiday of Passover. The suspects are all were Hamas members

from the West Bank town of Qalqiliya, according to the Shin Bet security agency.

Hamas officials in Qalqiliya denied the account and said they were not involved in any plot.

The plot was ordered by Hamas renegades in the Gaza Strip who are displeased with the

movement's November cease-fire with Israel and its acceptance of the more moderate

Fatah movement into a coalition government.

Apr 21, 2007

Palestinian militants blow up Gaza’s only international school, which gave the kind of quality

education that would enable young Palestinians to pursue higher studies elsewhere, to make

something of their lives.

In the past two weeks, the explosives smuggled into the Gaza strip from Egypt were applied

in Gaza against an internet café, a culture center, a library, a popular family restaurant, and

a Bible Society which taught computer studies to both Muslims and Christian Palestinians.

Apr 24, 2007. Israel's Independence Day.

Hamas militants fire a barrage of rockets and mortar shells toward Israel, and declare it

the end of a five-month truce with Israel. Israel Radio, citing military officials, said the

rocket attack appeared to be an unsuccessful attempt to create a diversion in order to

capture an Israeli soldier posted at the Gaza border.

Nine Palestinians were killed in fighting with Israel over the weekend, most of them militants,

but also two civilians.

In other developments, around 200 men from the Abu Sharkh tribe, many armed with

rifles and M16s, pushed their way into the parliament building in Gaza City, firing in the

air, and carrying the body of 38-year-old Hassan Abu Sharkh on a stretcher. Abu Sharkh

was shot in the head on Sunday, and his body dumped in a nearby park. Two other

Palestinians were killed in internal fighting on the same day.

Apr 25, 2007

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his top security chiefs on Wednesday reject calls for a

massive ground offensive in the Gaza Strip following a renewal of rocket attacks on

southern Israel by the Hamas militant group.

food for thought..................

Just imagine a huge Muslim state, the ninth biggest country in the world, one of the richest with natural resources on the globe. Imagine a place where you can freely stroll the streets wearing a badge with the Israeli flag, where anti-Semitism is a weird, unknown social disease and people respect their Jewish neighbors and the Jewish state.

Imagine a Muslim country in the vicinity of Afghanistan and Pakistan where Islamic extremism does not exist. Imagine a place with one of the highest economic growth rates in the world, an island of stability in a quite heated region.

This place is called Kazakhstan.

further note...one of the reason Sanita, a Chechen citizen of kazakhstan, was so upset with Borat (movie) was the way the Jewish citizens of Kazakhstan was slandered.....
