Hello Everyone,

I just realized that I made some errors on my i130 application after sending it to the lockbox. The error was on Part 4, asking about beneficiary's previous marriages. I entered my information, which I found to be wrong because I am the petitioner. I am a US citizen, filing for my foreign spouse. I sent a letter to USCIS Service Center in Potomac with reference of the case number and my case has been updated today as: "USCIS received your correspondence. We are reviewing it and will send you a notice if we need something from you."

My question is how long it will take them to update this status again???

Has anyone submitted corrections before? What were the outcomes.

some have called the uscis customer service number and talked to them, and updated it by phone but you need to make sure you ask for a tier 2 rep

Thank you. I called them 2 weeks ago and the officer told me to send a letter, stating the errors and the corrections made. I did send the letter and now my status is uodated to "USCIS received your correspondence and is reviewing it. How long it will take them to review it?
