In my research of previous VJ posts and the USCIS website, I believe I have my head wrapped around this, but always appreciate the direct answers of those who have been through it personally!

My I-751 ROC application is pending (and, no doubt, will be for many months to come) but my wife and I are about to close on a house. While this will be great additional evidence if we get a RFE (!) it obviously means we have to go through the "change of address" process.

It seems to em that the steps we need to take are:

1. I will need to fill out an AR-11 online, and the "change of address" online combo to ensure the USCIS have our new address on file.

2. As my wife filed an affidavit of support with my original AOS from my K-1 visa when I first got my Green Card, she will need to fill out and mail the I-485.

That would complete the "change of address" process, correct? Just looking for some reassurance from fellow VJers - thanks in advance!

We moved form Atlanta to Phoenix in June 2017 and filed the AR11 online to reflect the changes.

Over a week later an email confirmed the changes.

I got the same email instantly but I have not received anything in the mail confirming the change. I mailed in the sponsors change of address form about a week after I sent in the AR11 and already got a reply in the mail but the sponsor change of address doesn't go to the CVC.

The sponsor has to fill out the I-865 whenever you move: https://www.uscis.gov/i-865

Just had to do this, it's free and took about a week to get the response back.

The I-485 is the AOS application, that is not needed as you did it two years ago to get the green card.

I received a letter from the Texas USCIS letting me know that the California USCIS will be dealing with my service request  "Change of Address".

The letter came to our new address in Phoenix, I have heard nothing since. You may want to make an appointment with infopass to make sure everyone is on the same page with your change of address.

Yes, sorry, I think I was meaning  to say that my wife had filled out an affidavit as part of the I-485 so she will need to send the I-865!
