Sent in application for AOS last February, still haven't got my green card?

So we sent in the application last February, did biometrics last March. And then we got request for evidence last May and we haven't heard anything back since. We know they received that request for evidence thingy from their website though. I'm getting really worried. And from what I googled, k1 visa holders usually get the fastest time for adjustment of status?

Not always the case. It's slowed a bit lately to a 11-14 month time frame I believe. Also some say that with the RFE, that "resets" the clock or timeline sometimes. Perhaps call in and request some info. You have done your biometrics I assume last year initially?

K-1s can take a year or so to adjust if your case remains at the NBC for adjudication.

The upside is this means you get your green card without another interview. The downside, as you're experiencing, is the extended wait.

Join the Feb AOS 2017 or March AOS 2017 threads on here. There are quite a few people in the same situation and it might ease your mind.

My Green Card took 10 months before it was approved without RFE. Adjusting from K-1 doesn't simplify the application process. It doesn't guarantee an interview exemption either. I could understand waiting without any updates takes a lot of patience.

Concerned due to lack of updates, I did set an infopass appointment for my AOS Application. I asked where my physical files were and should I be concerned (missing files, etc). So far, I got all the answers I needed after setting an infopass appointment.

P.S. My USCIS Online Case never updated. It is still stuck at "Fingerprint fee received" to date despite being approved last November and had the actual GC on hand Dec 1st.

Pinoy Ako! ^_^

Yeah, but I haven't heard back from them at all though?

I didn't hear anything from them either.keep am eye on your processing time if your app falls behind that date do a service request just like i did and 30 days later i got the approval.

You can't do it now if your app is within the normal working time.
