@Bhumi, sorry that I do not have any specific links. What I did was I typed things like " AOS interview experience" or "I-485 interview questions" and read all the webpages, to be prepared for all possible situations.

@Holly-ando Hey, it's totally normal to feel extremely nervous. To share my own experience, I was so nervous that it was hard to focus on anything else. But as time goes by, you start to accept that this is really happening. And try to do something you like to distract yourself. Talk to friends and family about your feelings, or watch something, go out for walks, enjoy the summer. Things will happen fast and soon before you know it, you'll start to work. Just know that all will happen, and all would take time.

Then as for me, the more I prepare for the interview, the more relaxed and confident I get.  You might think the same way as me? Try to prepare for it and see what other millions of people who had their interview have to say. You'll realize that it can be so easy and you have little to worry about.

Relax, try to enjoy the time! Good luck.

@Tenreyro When i first joined the thread, you explained to me the difference between intent and misrepresentation, i filed after exactly 134 days, do you think this issue would be raised in this case, i would really like to hear your input about this??

@BenSherry can you please share your interview experience as well as your visa type ??

I'm sorry guys, the interview was scheduled quickly and i'm freaking out ! Thank you for your help

Hello guys, congrats to all of you

they updated my case to interview was scheduled on the 24th (I only saw it today as i try not to check everyday), i called and scheduled my medical exam but to be honest i don't know how to feel about this so i'm really kinda nervous, i applied on July and i just did my biometrics on 3d of august.

Is it normal to be so fast ??  or is it a bad sign and what should i expect ?? Any input would be highly appreciated

Wow. Congrats! You submitted after me and your PD is also after mine. I wonder after which criteria they schedule interviews. But since my EAD/AP were approved I am not in such rush because I'd be nervous too.

Good luck!!!!

I think you are fine, misrepresentation could be assumed in that case if, for example, you said you came visiting, but you sold your car and house before coming 'visiting'. If you are in the process for real reasons, I think you would be fine.

July 20: Case Ready for Interview (Finally!)

August 14: Card being produced //  August 22: Combo Card in hand

Hi guys, now I have time again to enter the forum and write. Our relatives visiting was a more time-consuming task than I though. As I already posted, the EAD being produced, I had it in my hand around 1 week after I was informed it was being produced. I took a moment to get my Learner's Permit, so I can drive  again (NY allows you to drive unaccompanied if you have both the NY Permit and a Foreign Driver's License).

Nevertheless, we met with a family friend who is a doctor, and got some titer tests done to see the level of immunity, so I don't have to get some vaccines done that I already have. (It was impossible for me to get my full vaccination record in my country). So, I will soon do the Medical and send it to USCIS.

Thank you @Bfree3 for answering @VG31. Yes, now next steps for me are not that immigration related, but basically structure things that a normal people would have (driver's license, library card, etc.). But I will also get my medical done to send it to accompany my case. And mostly, wait is what's coming next, as always.

I am very, very happy for all the good news that have been posted on this forum, and it was such a joy to read each story and advance that have been happening. I wish the best of luck for everyone that is already going to an interview, and if you need help on the documentation to bring, don't hesitate on asking here.

Information during this process is vital, and in this thread we have created something that didn't exist before. We created hope for the F2A that are considering Adjustment of Status, we took it as a gamble at the beginning of March, but we were sure that it was possible (with a pending I-130 or not). And I am very happy to see new names everyday getting involved, and knowing there are also two or three people that only read, and might eventually share their stories. Good Luck everyone, and be patient, keep your spirit up.

Conratulations @Tenreyro on your EAD card and the driving license ! :)

I definitely would like to hear any suggestions you guys have about documentation to bring and answers to prepare.

I've been reading threads here and in other forums and on Facebook, and i was thinking of bringing this to prove the relationship

-Medical, Dental and vision insurance
-Life insurance
-Accidental death and disability
-Car insurance
Also
-Joint lease
-Hubby's tax returns
-Joint mobile account Sprint
-Joint bank accounts
Also

-Traveling history together
-A lot of pictures

As for the misrepresentation part, i'm going to bring my plane ticket back as i wasn't planning on staying, the record of my previous two visits, and i wish the chat i had with the CBP officer is on record since i told hhim that i'm here to see my husband and he's petitioning for me and all that

If you think of anything else, please let me know.

Sorry about the lengthy post, i'm so nervous lol

It’s good to hear that you can take care of all those things now which just that card.

Did your status change to card was mailed? It’s been a week since Approval now and no status update and no card in the mail.

Can you do the medical and then send it to USCIS? Which address are you sending it to?

Congrats!!! I don't think it's a bad sign at all. I think it all just depends on the field office and officer processing your case, so the timeline varies per person. Although nerve wrecking, this is actually a good thing. Think of it this way - one less thing to wait for and worry about! 😄

From the several posts I've read about AOS interviews, I think most focus on the relationship between the couple, to determine if their relationship is genuine. They usually ask the wife about the husband's information and family, and the husband about the wife's information and family. I've also read some that were asked about simple things like their everyday routine as a couple. Some ask about how the couple met and how the couple fell in love. They also ask about information in the application, like finances, etc.

I'll let you know if I have new information about interviews. Good luck to you and your spouse! We're rooting for you!

We just received email and text updates that a new card is being produced for our EAD 😁 I am in a similar situation with @GiselaMargareta - my EAD status was updated, but my AP is in the same 'Case was Received' status. I'm hopeful that the card being produced is a combo card, though. In any case, my spouse and I are very happy and thankful.

Congrats to everyone who's received good news as well. Here's to more good news for all of us!!! 😄

Have you received your card or any update yet? I was supposed to start on Tuesday but I still don't have the card.
