All great news!

We just received the pink card (work permit & AP) by mail. it took 3 working days for me since `New Card Is Being Produced`. I bet you will get the card at this weekend.

For now I hope the I130 will get approved soon. I heard many people with PD Jan 25 got approved.

3 working days wow. You have been the fastest that I have seen. The most common number of days I have seen so far was 7 days. If I do get my card this weekend, I will fly out the day after. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations @thepanda ! It will probably take anywhere from 3-10 days ...the trend I've seen is exactly 6-7 days but its always been between 3-10 overall. Sometimes it takes longer but for the most part looks like the system is working well and everyone is getting their cards. I hope it get mine soon. I'm definitely antsy now but I've updated my resume and ready.

Thank you! I am quite sure it will be your turn soon as well. I am crossing my fingers for you! :)

Maybe tenreyro didn't see your message @VG31 . At this point, he can work and travel freely. Next step would be getting request for interview, completing his medical and heading to the interview, which will probably be the beginning of next year for him since his PD was the end of 2016.

@Bfree3Thanks for the update.

Thank you! :) Of course I will if it helps anyone.

So on August 3rd I received two job offers and called USCIS to expedite via phone. In order to talk to a customer rep you have to ask for your case status and after a computer told you what's going on you have the option to "report a problem". (It took me 20 mins to figure this out so that's why I am mentioning it) I only told him that I wanted to expedite under "severe financial loss to a person" and he opened up a service request. I never mentioned that I had a pending job offer. They told me that I should receive something within 5 days. I was one of the unlucky ones that didn't receive an e-mail but an actual letter (see timeline). So I lost another week. During that time though I prepared all my paperwork. I printed my job offer, wrote a cover letter on why I needed to expedite, added the biometric appointment letter, my i-797 receipt, my past 2 W2's and proof of termination of my former company. I did not add any bank statements or gave any budgets. On the day I received the letter I faxed everything to the number and the team that was on that letter. I could not send anything before because in the letter it says that the letter had to be included with the evidence. The next day I looked up my senator's website, filled out the privacy release form and faxed it to their office. On this form I had to also tell them how they could help me, so I just put a short text in there. The next day the senators office called me to ask if I already expedited and I said yes. So they said that they will send a request to get a status on that expedite. The lady told me that they usually give them 30 days to respond but that they usually respond within 2 weeks. That's it.

I was going to call them today again to get an update but this morning my status changed, so obviously I didn't have to anymore.

I honestly don't know if contacting the senator helped though but I am very grateful that they reacted this quickly. I have read that other senator offices take a couple weeks until they accept a case or even respond.

Hi, I have been silent for a while as not much has happened but this week we received email and online status update that 'new card is being produced' for EAD. The I-131 status has not updated however (advanced parole/travel document). I wonder if you think the EAD card will have both the Advanced Parole and EAD even though Advanced parole hasn't had any movement? Is it most common that the card is a combo card?

We also received notice that interview is scheduled. Online update + email and text mssg. Waiting for the letter to find out when the interview is.

Oh wow congratulations.

What was your PD for the AOS? Give us a breakdown of your timeline please

Oh if you signed up for both AP/EAD together in the same package then  it is most common to get the combo card. Most people have mentioned no movement on the ap section but receive a combo card.

Also, once everything goes well with your interview you will get greencard in short order..🙏🏽😀

My status in the new tracker (DHS) updated today and in both cases AP and EAD it says that they have been approved. So, don't worry. It will be the combo card as mentioned above.

I received a letter from the Senator today that my case close. In hindsight, I believe that it actually did help to contact my Senator. For anyone who also plans on expediting.

We just received email and text updates that a new card is being produced for our EAD 😁 I am in a similar situation with @GiselaMargareta - my EAD status was updated, but my AP is in the same 'Case was Received' status. I'm hopeful that the card being produced is a combo card, though. In any case, my spouse and I are very happy and thankful.

Congrats to everyone who's received good news as well. Here's to more good news for all of us!!! 😄

I'm on F1 visa as well. Just got back from Florida and I live in Texas. I traveled with my driver license, no one asked for passport or etc. So you should be fine*) I would advise to take NOA1 and your passport as well, just in case. But I'm pretty much sure that you are gonna be fine.

Have you dropped school already? I have doubts to do that, cause my case is still on status "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received"=/

Hi Clotillda, sorry for the very late response. Thank you for the advise about traveling. I didn't drop school, but already finished my studies last June. I agree with you and I don't advise dropping out.

Looks like I would have gotten my EAD even without expediting it. But better safe than sorry. :) Congrats!!! And it will be a combo card. No worries.

Hello @Bfree3 & @talad,

glad to hear about the combo card. Fingers crossed.

For the timeline for my husband who is a Swedish citizen, I am green card holder (not sure why it is not showing up at the bottom like for others + I can't update the AP and EAD section in my timeline as it says it is the wrong visa type. Not sure how to fix):

Prio date November 30, 2016

I-130 approved April 2018 (still not updated on website)

Prio date for AOS package April 24, 2018 (sent I-485, I-131 and I-765 in same package)

Got email that interview was being scheduled in Stockholm (can't remember when). Changed it to AOS as husband is in the USA on E2 visa.

Got an RFE in July for birth certificate (which Sweden doesn't have). Responded on July 19.

August 1, 2018: email that they are ready to schedule the interview

August 21, 2018: email that new card for EAD has been ordered and will be sent to our home

August 22, 2108: email that interview has been scheduled

We have signed up for "Informed delivery" at USPS (there is also an app), then you get an email every day with images of all the mail you are going to get that day.  Very helpful.

Good luck to everyone.
