Yes it was accepted on May 31st.

Maybe RFE. But I-131 is fairly simple, as long as you included a copy of the passport, your photos and a copy of your I-485's NOA1.

Either way, I would be surprised if it was already approved, but at the same time, it would be something kind of to expect, because I-131 is a short form, and we don't see it moving faster because most people send it concurrently with I-765, that slows down them both for the purpose of the Combo Card. And I guess there is not a long wait for the ones without companion. I guess the other ones get assigned together, but are not processed until the EAD is processed.

So, I am more inclined to believe it might be an approval :)

No @tenreyro I got the notification that it was accepted last night. I had everything required in the package so I shouldn’t have any Rfe.

Wise words as always, thank you. this journey definitely would not be the same without you guys.

@thepandaI'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, even though tenreyro soothed your fears already. This is exactly how mines shows as well so no worries. But you know what I am thinking now @Tenreyro.... filing the medical with your aos package does have something to do with the early interview alert  - lilydenris, qaf2a and bensherry all had medicals done with their package and got the interview alert shortly after within the 70 day mark of filing AOS. I'm almost to 80 days and no change so I'm starting to feel that the medical was the factor or possibly just having everything in the package "complete" so to speak. Not disappointed or trying to disappoint anybody just looking at the facts. I'm also seeing alot of negative talk on this forum about people who do AOS (rolls eyes), some people on here are so judgmental it makes me want to find another visa forum and leave this behind. Anyway,I'm just going to respond to you guys and anything that comes directly to my mail moving forward. Lets all stay informed and busy...good luck guys!! Lots of love..

No worries and thank you for replying! That makes me even feel better now!

Let's wait. I am expecting a long wait. So if I do get any news earlier, it would be a nice surprise. I totally agree with you that there is a very hostile atmosphere in this forum. There are certain users that are very blunt. They usually start with “I am sorry for being blunt but…” Unfortunately, it is not really an apology and it doesn’t help. I always glad to come back to this civilized topic where we are polite to each other. If you go back and read the last pages you can literally feel the positive and happy atmosphere lol :jest:

Hey Bfree3 did you receive i485 notice for interview?

Like QAF2A did  received . Because I am after yours.

Hi @Bhumi no I haven’t and I don’t think we will get the notification since we didn’t file our medical (read up above where Tenreyro and I sorta explained the theory ) but we will keep each other updated if anything changes.

Can anyone tell me that, can we send our medical to our field office so they can take our interview?

Usually it is taken with you whenever you get your interview(the yellow letter said not to mail it at the bottom if I remember correctly) . Let’s wait to see what qaf2a and bensherry have to say after their interviews which are coming up. We will have more insight.

I have read of people happening that. Even some people reporting that their status moved forward and then backwards, and then forward again. It even seems to appear that if your case gets an user defined error it "means" that your case is soon to be scheduled for interview. USCIS's online status are a little twisted. The new (DHS) tracker seems to be more accurate and less crazy, but the old one sometimes updates faster (Happened like that to me on the RFIE).

Thank you @Tenreyro for your comment! I never know the new (DHS) tracker until reading your comment here, so I created an account last weekends to track AOS and EAD/131 case status, guess what, I got approval for EAD/131 status on the new (DHS) tracker today! even though the the old USCIS status are still case received, but I'm looking forward to receiving the approval notice from the mail now. I've been watching multiple immigration site/trackers to see ppl's timeline, but this one here is the most positive one so far! I know the waiting time is very long and sometime frustrating, but I'd like to try to stay positive like everyone on this site.

Thanks everyone for sharing!

Hi! And Welcome @ladybirdapple!

I am glad you feel welcome here, the good people in this topic are the ones that help me with this wait, making it easier to overcome frustration. I guess you are also F2A, but I will wait for you to confirm that.

I was also ask you about your timeline, but I see you now added it to your signature:

F2A I-130 Priority Date: 3/7/2017

AOS with pending I-130 (F2A):

Biometric Appointment: 4/16/2018

I-131/I-765 Approved on 6/6/2018 (Expedite)

Still, I am curious, what are you adjusting status from?

And have your case being updated to 'Ready to be scheduled for an interview'?

Also, I noticed you mention an expedite, would you mind sharing your reason and experience?

If it was a job, I hope you have a good start on it, and that is something you enjoy. If there is not a job still, remember no employer can discriminate you for employment because your work permit has a future date of expiration.

Thanks for joining & thanks for sharing!!

Thank you for all the reply and questions!

Let me reply quick on my tiny phone since I'm in the office. I'm adjusting from H1B visa, I-485 did not change to ready to schedule interview. I expedite I-131 travel document because family medical emergency, then it took 36 days to approve after my original request. I just called them today to check status since my USCIS account still didn't update, the customer service confirmed both case are approved but need to wait "at least" 60 days for card production... I don't know if it's true or not but only wait.

And I am in California like ladybird so I'll try to respond to the rest of questions asap when I got home :)
