@Bfree3 I just checked your timeline in your signature. You put as PD 3/29/2018. What is your actual PD? The date when your i-130 was delivered/accepted?

I took the liberty too to check the signature and timeline (Bfree3's I-130 PD is 2017-04-20). However @Bfree3 check because "Notice Date" and "Receipt Date" are different, according to your signature, it was received on March 21, and Check cashed March 29. Your Receipt Date for I-485 is likely to be March 21st or 22nd.

Dec 19, 2016: F2A I-130 Priority Date

AOS with pending I-130 (F2A):

March 2, 2018: AOS Package PD (I-485, EAD, AP)

March 14, 2018: NOA1  / E-Notification // Physical Mail: March 20, 2018

March 17, 2018: Biometric Appt Notice received //  Appointment: April 6th

March 29 RFIE // April 11 USCIS received RFIE response

May 10, 2018: I-130 Approved  :D *But case sent to NVC*

July 11: INFOPASS Appt + Sent Additional Documents

July 20: Case Ready for Interview (Finally!)

August 14: Card being produced //  August 22: Combo Card in hand

I can't believe it but my online status changed to: Case is Ready t Be Scheduled for An Interview. This was yesterday! One day after my biometrics! I still can't believe it and I am so grateful.

Congratulations  @thepanda, I'm really happy, and impressed how fast it was!!!! I hope you get your EAD and interview soon as well!!!

@Tenreyro has your status changed as yet?

Unfortunately no :(, I estimated it could take up to June 20th since my PD basically got reseted because of the RFIE. Also, I suspect the visa you had before sending AOS could influence the time it takes for the background check (hence readiness for interview?), so @thepanda comes from a good postion. If June goes by without updating, then I will contact someone about my case, I don't want for it to be stuck.

I have however received several "We are still reviewing your case" emails

2 on May 18: "We last took action on your case on April 6, 2018"

2 on May 21: "We last took action on your case on March 12, 2018"

3 on May 28: "We last took action on your case on April 16, 2018"

2 Today: "We last took action on your case on April 6, 2018"

I wake up everyday hoping it updated, one of these days it will happen.

Thank you! I hope you will get an update very soon! In the next two weeks!

My case is very straightforward. I hope that I will have the interview soon - just to be over with it even though I won't receive the card until next year.

It is actually March 20. I need to revise that. @thepanda

My online status actually only updated on the old website. On the new website it still says that they received my fingerprint fee.

Is that normal?

I keep checking my online status daily because I’m scared that they reverse it to “fingerprint fee received) on the old case tracker.

Hi guys &gal,

need help for filing Choose an agent.

Would it be possible if my husband, the petitioner be also the agent?

And how should be the filling process, since we both are the receipient of the letter separately, do we need to individually respond also?

Hi @reyn!

You are on the wrong topic, we are adjusting status via USCIS. You are looking information on Consular Processing via NVC, ask that here:

I have read of people happening that. Even some people reporting that their status moved forward and then backwards, and then forward again. It even seems to appear that if your case gets an user defined error it "means" that your case is soon to be scheduled for interview. USCIS's online status are a little twisted. The new (DHS) tracker seems to be more accurate and less crazy, but the old one sometimes updates faster (Happened like that to me on the RFIE).

@thepandaI'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, even though tenreyro soothed your fears already. This is exactly how mines shows as well so no worries. But you know what I am thinking now @Tenreyro.... filing the medical with your aos package does have something to do with the early interview alert  - lilydenris, qaf2a and bensherry all had medicals done with their package and got the interview alert shortly after within the 70 day mark of filing AOS. I'm almost to 80 days and no change so I'm starting to feel that the medical was the factor or possibly just having everything in the package "complete" so to speak. Not disappointed or trying to disappoint anybody just looking at the facts. I'm also seeing alot of negative talk on this forum about people who do AOS (rolls eyes), some people on here are so judgmental it makes me want to find another visa forum and leave this behind. Anyway,I'm just going to respond to you guys and anything that comes directly to my mail moving forward. Lets all stay informed and busy...good luck guys!! Lots of love..

I got text and email notifications for my i131 last night. Do you think I’ll have to do biometrics again ? @Tenreyro

I-131 does not require Biometrics, it's only necessary for the I-765 and I-485, hopefully is something positive!!!

You filed it after your AOS package, right?

Yes, lilydenris was kind of a tie breaker. To anyone that filed without the medical after reading me saying you can, I am sorry. Anyone out there reading this that have not file, consider sending it with medical and getting that out of the way.

I am still kind of optimist that we (non-medical filers) get soon updated to the next steps, and that you specifically get an interview notice before Jul 1st (that would somehow disrupt our fact-based theory). But that's me being optimistic, and now that I think about it being optimistic is something necessary to file anything with USCIS xD

We should use facts as our base for the things we say as a statement.

Aaand, this is why I said that we should use facts. I have seen a lot of people with a really negative attitude, and trying to roll over people's opinion with their "experience", but in my humble opinion a lot of those people have outdated or limited knowledge, or beliefs about the immigration process, I have seen USC talking about the process for F2A, as if they knew, and basically saying "A F2A can't do that, it's only for USC spouses". As if, really, when did the form started to discriminate? Really? Or at least do you have some evidence that proves that? And even when I have submitted the evidence, just go ahead and try to shut you up in a rude, disrespectful or obnoxious way, with something that looks like a complex of superiority.

Yes, there are a lot of negative people that should be helpful and helping people. But there are also helpful people, and people who get desperate about this wait, and I try to focus on them instead of the unfortunate people that are just are using knowledge from their time, two to four years ago, and believe that things are the same (sometimes they don't even understand the Dates for Filing). Honestly, I just keep coming back because of this thread, because of all of you guys, if not, I wouldn't even join another visa forum, I would just wait by my own.

Hang in there everyone, we are more than halfway through.
