I'm glad to hear that the USPS Informed Delivery worked with you, I can't activate for my address, maybe when I move eventually, I will be able to.

According to the Informed Delivery I am going to receive my letter today! I am so excited and happy and can't wait to see when my appointment is!  *happydance*

Do you send your AOS package with your wife's medical or did you receive a courtesy letter for the medical?

We sent the medical with the AOS package.

I have a question: Do you think people who submitted their medical with their package get an earlier interview date? I think @QAF2A also submitted her medical docs with her package, right?

That's why I asked, but both mention Chicago as their field office, so I don't know which one is the factor, if either Medical attached or Field Office. As of now, not enough data

 

I was curious also on the kind of visa that it's adjusting from, but BenSherry seem a little reserved with their timeline, so I preferred to respect that and not ask too much.

 

We need more interviews scheduled for us to know (and to celebrate more)

@Tenreyro How long did it take you to get an actual mail for request of evidence after they changed status on website? They changed status of my case on Monday, but haven't got anything yet.

I actually received the letter before it changed.  Not all cases are the same, I have seen updated that take a week in the system, and updates done immediately, for your case try to take into consideration how long it took for your NOA1 to arrive after the e-notification, but inform USCIS if you have not received the RFIE or RFE, first try after 15 days, even when 30 is their standard. Remember RFE and RFIE have a deadline that will be unknown to you, but it will probably be for around 90 days I guess? I don't remember what was ours. 

 

Good Luck, if there's anything I can help you with, please let me know. Oh, also, don't send originals unless they ask for it, or you have more than one, or can acquire them easily, otherwise your originals can be stored in your file for a long time, and you would have to request for it to be returned, which would take a long time (or they could even destroyed, some say).
