All these kids will be voting soon. Many will get to vote for the first time in 2020. Hopefully they remember those members of the electorate who wouldn't give them the time of day in 2018.

Are you speaking of every member of Congress that has been in office the past number of years, or the new guy elected in Pennsylvania?

kids protesting turns them into sheep? that's an odd take.

Hillary recently told us that all

women are sheep being led by the significant males in their life.  Are students any different?

comments like that are why she isn't president. these students want lawmakers to act on gun control, they're not being lead by any 'significant males'.

So exactly what must be done on gun control? I am seriously asking this because the measures that are ALREADY IN PLACE did not work and/or ignored by numerous different departments and agencies. So how would even more regulation do anything different, or are you just talking about banning certain firearms from being sold?

Please I am seriously asking you.

My wife and I got into a argument about this last night because she was not raised up around firearms and finds me teaching my two older kids firearm safety/target practice to be absurd. She then went on a rant on how I will NOT be teaching her kids until they are teenagers.

i don't know why you are seriously asking when its been answered time and time again. if the measures already in place did not work, then we need better measures. that's how laws work.

i want increased gun control. i think it should be difficult to get a gun and i think that a person should have to prove themselves responsible in order to have one. my mom was raised around guns and absolutely hates them. i don't think it's about exposure to guns that necessarily dictates if a person wants their young children trained shooters. why do you want your younger children to be trained with guns now? do they hunt with you or something?

My 2 older kids(11 and 9) go out hunting with their Mom's(my x) side of the family because they are the epitome of redneck. I want my young children(1 and 4) to understand firearm safety and how to use them but I do think they are to young right now, maybe when they are about 9 or 10 I will start teaching them.

So the laws on the books didn't work because they were not followed so we just want to add more laws? How does that make any sense at all?

my opinon but, if there are guns in your home i don't think it's too early to introduce them to the safety aspect.

makes no sense to me that a kid can walk into a store and buy an ar15 but can't buy a six pack. does that make sense to you?

And they can drive to that store at 16.

So we should follow our European counterparts and lower the drinking age to 18.

Less than that in some places.

actually, i do. but i also think we should have a nationwide minimum waiting period on all firearm purchases and there should be a nationwide mandatory background check for ALL firearm related transactions.
