Congratulations...and yes you can apply for a drivers license and your SSN. You can also seek employment.

Hello everyone,

I have learned that some people in the state of Florida can get a driver's license with the Prima Facie. I understand that a Prima Facie does not grant a legal status, I have also known of people who when they put a ticket to transit are sometimes deported for not having a legal status, which is why I ask myself the following:

1. Differences between a normal license and one obtained with Prima Facie?
2. Has someone with a license under Prima Facie been able to pay a transit ticket without problem?
3. What are the restrictions on a driver's license under the condition of Prima Facie?
4. How long do they issue the validity of the license?
5. Is it a paper or a plastic that is obtained?
6. What is the cost to obtain it?

I don’t think your information is correct. You can obtain a driver’s license with an EAD or expired EAD and I-765 renewal notice. 

All driver’s licenses are the same no matter how you obtain it. The only difference is that the expiration date will be the date your EAD/EAD renewal notice expires. 

 

Prima Facie is only a piece of paper that can be used to obtain public benefits but not an official ID.

I went to the DMV office and they told me I have to have a prima Facie letter or an I360 approval for a drivers license. I don't know the cost or the other info that florecita is asking, but with the prima facie you can get a drivers license.

If you are afraid of your husband then get a restraining order against him. Blocking all contacts wirh him is the right thing to do in your case, if he shows up in your mom's house tell your mom to call the cops.When dealing with an abuser you should not be concern  of "any shows" but to protect yourself.

Igot driving lisence using my international passport , but state differs the driving license igot is AB 60 is for illegal immigrants it look the same just like normal lisence .but when igot work authorisation ichanged to get the regular lisence a m in California .they do have lisence for un documented immigrants..

Received biometrics appointment for I-485, while I am preparing RFE for my I-360 and EAD extension hasn’t arrived after 6 months of submitting. It is normal to receive I-485 biometrics so early?? I’m so confused.

@Shallovercome32 how long after receiving EAD c31 did you get your approval letter or update? Mine is going on 1 month in 2 days. I got c31 but no approval letter yet.
