Try to see if a shelter for victims of domestic violence accepts you,I am saying if they will accept you because shelters just accept prople fleeing from abuse,it means from the abusive spouse to the shelter, but because you went to your aunt's home  they might not accept you,but it does not hurt to try.

Thanks Miss Sandra. I will give it a try.

It is well my dear, the lord is your strength, count it all joy and do not bear any hatred against them. Every thing happens for a reason.

Thank you for the kind words @Allrounder Hopefully next year this time, all this will be in my rear view.

The shelter is the best place for you to go to, like Miss Sandra said, the DV shelter cannot accept you if you are not in danger, but it doesn't hurt to go to homeless shelter as well. If your husband is still looking for you, that means you are in danger, then Domestic Violence shelter will take you. Good luck.

Which state are you in?

Stay strong, believe me, If God has given me an apartment to live, with my kids, after spending 12 months in Domestic Violence Shelter and Homeless Shelter, then He will answer you, yes, one day this will be your rear view.

Hello everyone,

I just received "Request For Evidence" on last week. And there are six questions on the letter, but only one question is marked with "x". My attorney told me that the only one that is marked with “x” on the Request for Evidence is the one we need to address. I just want to make sure he is right. Thank you for your answers.
