If you received the work permit category C31 then your Vawa was approved.USCIS is messy and often Vawa petitioners tell me that they never received the approval notice. Go to infopass to inquire about your Vawa case.

Many thanks for your time.

my first one was bonafide marriage and good moral, so this means that this one will ask for more abuse evidence or they can ask for something else? i didnt send police reports or psycological evaluation but i sent some letter from friends that witnessed the abuse. I'm thinking about getting an psycological evaluation next week

It could be anything, I am just naming the most common RFE’s. Just wait until you receive it. Then you can gather evidence and submit it. The good thing is that they give you many chances to provide evidence.

which state are u in ?

i didn’t know they come to house and check. unless difference in culture and large age gap.

I'm in NY and we are like 3 years apart, they came to our house because when i gave them my address for my i130 interview they found that the house i'm staying was a church and i was telling them it is not and they didn't believe me, some priests used to live there before me so it was considered a religious house and it was documented as a church on their system. so they came talked to my and my Ex and they were pretty cool officers.

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it would be beneficial if it can be proved that the abuser has a mental illness, I mean, help if he can prove that the abuser has a mental illness?
It is important to clarify that patients with this mental illness tend to be aggressive and conflicting among other things.
Thank you all for your comments!

You can look up Live scan locations. Most police stations do this so you can call and schedule an appointment. They will take your fingerprints electronically and within a few weeks you will get your criminal record/clearance from the state mailed to you. You don’t really need an FBI check unless the RFE specifically asked for it. Just make sure you send clearances from all states or countries you lived in within 3 years prior to filing Vawa.

I have a question guys

We were separated from each other cuz of abuse and she lets someone deposit a fake check on our Account but never told me that till i found out from tbe bank also they couldn't not withdraw money and the bank closed the account, up till now i couldn't open a bank because of it.

Deposit a fake check on account it is a federal crime.

Can be considered as victime of crime?

Any response will be aporeciate

This alone will not be enough to apply for VAWA. You can mention it but it is not severe cruelty on its own.
