Hello everyone. I applied February 2017. Had 2 RFE. One was for good moral character, second for bonafide marriage. I recently applied for advance parole and i got approved las week. I’m waiting for my I360 approval and i am planning to go home since i live in Houston and processing time for Houston office for I485 is 18 months. I’m really worried because I don’t wanna wait another year and a half to see my family. Does anyone here knows is it safe traveling after VAWA approval? Anyone who traveled with advance parole?

It is always up to the immigration officer at the border whether they let you back in or not. For many it works, for many it doesn’t. Individual experiences won’t tell you much about what will happen in your case since it depends on the person that lets you in. It is up to you if the risk is worth it for you.

My lawyer told me that sometimes officer doesn’t even look at your evidence and they immediately sending a RFE , basically officer wants that my lawyer point every single evidence that we sent in my application so he is saving time . And for RFE i sent a affidavit from my mom because I already gave them everything i have.
