I got this alert yesterday and then later the status changed to "we ordered your new card" I did some research on the card production for persons who have received EAD under C31 even without applying or even before they have received approval for form I360. I found the following:

"Form I 360 nowadays has a question 12: if an applicant would like to receive an employment authorization incident to the approval of I 360 form. If an applicant checks this box, then he/she would receive an employment authorization after the approval of I 360 form automatically, without filing I 765 form, under c(31) eligibility category."

I checked and saw on form I360 that question 12 under section 10 has the EAD question, could it, therefore, mean that persons receiving EAD under C31 have been approved and likely will receive that formal approval soon? The new DHS site currently shows the following for the status of my I360.

Okay , so I have a question. I sent a video recording as evidence in my Vawas petion as proof of abuse where my abuser was threatening me. The cd only works as a dvd, so the cd has to be played either in a dvd player, I’m not so sure if in a computer would  work too. But my question is, would the people at the uscis vermont center consider that as evidence too? I’m not soo sure, they would take their time to listen to this type of evidence ... by the way my abuser was using bad words and yelling me really bad in that video...  I would appreciate any feedback. ^_^

No, videos are not considered as they can’t be viewed. Anybody could load a virus on a CD, so they would not put it in their government computers that have lots of valuable data on them. If you have a video, you need to write the transcript of the video and you can send a picture (screenshot) to prove the existence of the video.

No they will not play it, and will discard it as evidence.

See, this is what's not making any sense!  Since when did USCIS start issuing c31 EAD cards before VAWA was approved??? There are people waiting for their c31 EAD months after VAWA was approved and haven't heard a peep. (me included).

What the heck is going on?

Actually I think it could be longer than that, but my concern now is renewing my EAD without delays.

Where do we actually mail EAD/AP renewal forms?

I got a c31 ead in the mail and also I got sent c09 ead. Does c31 invalidate my c09? Is my AOS application still valid? No I-360 approval notice? What should I do?

That's an excellent question. If that's the card they are sending me I will also have C09 & C31. I would suppose that the last EAD you receive which is the C31 would cancel the C09. When did you file? Did you receive an EAD/AP Combo card? Unless USCIS has made a policy shift about providing C31 EAD after I360 approval. This would have meant that you possibly have been approved but their system has been so weird you never know. I hope that its an indication of the approval of the I360 and that you get the approval notice soon. If it is a  C31 EAD card they sent me in the mail, I plan to do an infopass to get some clarification.
