I believe  the message is old, considering that you got your GC in October 2017.

You can file form I-912 to waive the fees. Mention all your expenses and how much you are making or if you are ununemployed.

You can apply for Federal student aid (FAFSA). https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa

so should i just ignore? it’s midnight and received another text/ email notification about Ead now, when i check the case to see if the update changed it only shows as: your card was mailed out on 2017 this is is scary to continue getting old notificacions, it feels horrible to go back to think they reopened the case, just the feeling of going back to that moment.

Good Morning!!

I've seen several people saying that they are receiving old notifications from USCIS and I just received one about my work permit which I received January 2017. I think there is something wrong with their system that is sending notification about old cases. I have an InfoPass schedule for June 14th I will ask about this. I don't think we should give it much importance.

Your former attorney must withdraw his representation sending a letter to USCIS.

Thanks for replying Sandra!

Unfortunately he just refuses to do so. I have asked him several times to let USCIS know but he doesn't care and won't do it... I sent USCIS three separate letters, 1. change of address. 2. remove attorney. 3. PF extension.

Dear Collaborators, please help me with the following concerns: If a lawyer took the case of a client in USCIS and then a second lawyer is sought to represent me in the replacement of the first lawyer that sends to USCIS the FORM G-28.
I ask:
1. Does the fact that the second lawyer sends the G-28 FORM automatically replace the first lawyer?
2. If one changes in USCIS, do the communications that USCIS sends when they reach the first lawyer?
3. What happens if the first lawyer does not notify a USCIS that he no longer represents the client?
On the other hand, I would like to know if in the place of the registered address in USCIS, you can have the address of your lawyer, to prevent the abuser from having information.
Thank you all ...
