Hello Berries

 

I scanned from June-September today. and in every single month we have a ridiculously low amount of movement and no approvals.

Please check the new website for updates as it seems silent noa2s appear there.

 

Update trends I caught:

Old website, same info as apps: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

New website need to log in: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

 New website usually updates 4 am - 6 am

(It probably updates after this too but all the members who reported mentioned these hours. Me included) 

Old website updates through the day sometimes up till 10 pm. However late updates are usually "RFE received"

Do not lose hope......loosing hope will do more harm than good......

June filers not having anything to go by makes me a little calmer,what they're going through can't be compared to my situation they're over 250+ days I mean they're literally looking into a full year now.

No RFE.

Got an email notice from USCIS at 4/7 3:51 AM PST about an action was taken on my case. 

For now,  my case's updated status can only be found on the new website.

Our NOA2 came in the mail today, 4/7/18.  We'd answered the RFE (for some unchecked boxes on the I-129F ) the same day I got it, 3/23, and the site was updated on 3/26 noting they'd received my RFE response and on 4/3 noting they'd corrected the spelling of my fiance's name per my request.

 

Nothing since...until the happy news today!!!

The USCIS site shows...just the name changed item on 4/3.  Still.

I advise anyone to have one of these @Swissmiss82 in hand cause she knew before my email came )

 

Now about the “name was updated” as my other dear @emekus94 said, normally “name was updated” is a correction on the petition about name or address or such.  However, when they were doing May I was really in to research on some of the updates that people has no idea why. One was name was updated (never expected to get one) I confirmed this theory of name updated 99% turns to approval with quite a lot of members here so yayyyy.

 

my case only got name update on 4/5 4am but with the date of 4/4 on the new site, and the approval came on the old site.

 

wow can’t believe I’m writing this!

noa 2: April 5

 

I deleted the app so I’m not sure but I think I’m on day 204? from the received date. 

 

And I wouldn’t do this again even if they give me a million dollars! 

 

I don’t know how everyone is doing it, but during the past week I broke up with my fiancé 10 times at least. Because I wanted to stop the pain one way or another. And I couldn’t go to work for the past 2 days.... so I understand why couples are drained and why some people are not as “strong” (actually this is the wrong word to use)

 

So many people helped me through this hell other than the chocolate puddings that I ate.

-June edition:the one with most drama

-July edition: the one with the most chill

-August: the one that made me go crazy

-September : expediters 

-October : the one who always caught up in someone else’s drama

-November: all k1 goes to california 

-December: mainly validation errors

@Naes!!!!  I literally JUST congratulated you on your approval and mine just came in the mail today!!!  Aaaaaaaaah!  I can’t stop screaming and crying!!  I’m with my fiance in London so I went to check my e-mails for informed delivery notifications and it was there!!  Page 1of 1!!  I called my mom on Skype to tell her and I freaked her out with my tears!  LOL  She asked in a panic what had happened so I told her we’d been approved!  She asked, “Why are you crying then?”  Lol.  My fiance told her its because I’m an emotional person.    He knows me so well!   @NICK & PAULA I’m finally part of the club! Yay!!!  

 

This was a silent approval as the website and the app still show Response to USCIS request for evidence was received.

You know, I hadn’t when I wrote this post.  I’ve been in London with my fiancé these past few weeks and I’d been trying to just enjoy our time together and not stress over this whole process, especially after our RFE.  I was completely oblivious to the new site until just a while ago as I was reading through catching up on the posts.  I can’t believe how much I’ve missed!  Time sure does fly when you’re having fun!  Lol  The new website does in fact show our approval.  Congrats again girly!  I’m so excited for us both and I can’t wait for the next step in this process! NVC, here we come!  Woohoo!!!!

Hey so everyone keeps saying that if you call USCIS try to talk to a Tier 2 officer. So I guess the first person answering the phone doesn't know s*** ? Because my fiancé called a few days ago (I had to instruct him ) and the person answering the phone said we are still in processing time (September 22) and that our case looks good and should be approved soon blabla 

 

Do they actually have any information on our case or is this Tier 2 person the only one who is able to? Should my fiancé insist on talking to a tier 2 officer?

The first person you talk to actually knows less than us right now. 

They only know the information provided on the website (They used to didn't even know when there is a silent noa2...)
