🙋im the rfe for 9/11. I got the email from USCIS this morning at 6am, almost couldn't breathe logging in to check my status.  I can't lie, I was disappointed to see it wasn't an approval, but its *something*

ah okay so the doctor will send the results to the embassy? I think I read somewhere that sometimes get the results on that day and then you have to bring the sealed envelope to the embassy?! Is that possible?

Yes, the Doc in Frankfurt sent it to the embassy.

I don´t know if you can get the results on the same day. I guess the lab work needs a little time...

Everything is moving extremely fast for me and my  fiancé

NOA2 3/6/18

NVC received our paper work on 3/20 and we received emails today that NCV processed everything on their part, and they are transferring the case to my fiancé’s country. The email to my fiancé said:

“The U.S. Embassy in FRANKFURT, GER approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your petition to this U.S. Embassy for their action. The Embassy will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview.”

We we didn’t apply for expedited processing, but we’ll take the blessing. Thank you God!

Awesome! How were you notified that NVC have received your application?

Thank You! :)

Hello Dear Berries...

First of all thank you for all your good wishes personally.

My extreme research in this area is because I have anxiety and in order to keep it down, I have researched and learnt everything possible.

That's why I am here answering questions. And that is why I do not like to leave people in anxious situations in this forum waiting for an answer.

However, long story short. I want to withdraw to stop this.

But I calm down after USCIS closing hours and logic comes back and fiance says one more day. (this is till 23:30 pm my time, till i see informed delivery)

Today's conclusion is to first wait till the end of April and then decide.

(that also means 26 more days of me having these attacks every morning...So I may change my mind tomorrow morning to withdraw again.. I don't really know. )

Today I decided one more important thing.

My wedding invitation will include 3 rules:

1) Kids invited  :)

2) Pets are not allowed in the park  :(

3) Anyone voted current administration during the last election is not invited.

4/3 Full day total : 59

Hi Guys - Know this has been said already but I am still confused as to my NOA1 date - I know really it makes little difference, but I just want to know what date I can look out for on the processing times page to see when I can call USCIS....(currently if your application is from before 6th Sept you can enquire.

So,

On the NEW Uscis site (with the login) it says SUBMITTED Sept 13
The old case tracker says the case was RECEIVED case on Sept 11
App says September 11 (but I am sure this has fluctuated between Sept 11/12)

Which one do I have to wait for to appear on the processing times page??

Also I have been reading this a while and its good to hear everyone's support!!

For inquiries submitted date, not received date. That’s why they changed the system.

Hi guys ! My Noa1 was Sept22, Noa2 April 2. Just curious as to what a typical timeframe might look like... I'm hoping to leave Canada and be with my fiance end of May. Is that realistic?

I’m not trying to be a buzzkill but I don’t think so. With the current processing times I’d say late May is probably unlikely. Maybe end of June / mid July depending on how fast your case is sent and received at the NVC and how early you can get your medical & interview done

Oh...that's too bad. He's coming here end of May for my friend's wedding and I was hoping to go back with him. I'm not too concerned about the medical bc/ it's the same place I go for my yearly physicals and travel vaccines...they are pretty quick. I guess whenever the consulate opens up with available interview dates... 🤞

To give you an idea of interview dates as far as I’m aware, there’s none available till mid May atm (UK consulate) maybe Canada is different! I hope so for you! Haha. My fiancé is coming to visit me also at the end of May for my birthday and I wanted to return with him but I don’t think that’s even likely for us and we received NOA2 on the 28th March 😩 fingers crossed tho!

Sounds like we're twins 👯 Well... on the brightside, Ill be sure to tell my mom that I won't be moving just yet. She'll probably be the only person that's happy it's taking longer... Her and my best friend will probably be thrilled! 🤣

Extra time with family definitely can’t hurt!! I’m terrified of leaving mine tbh. First time moving out and I’m moving 3200 miles away 😂
