Hi everyone, I have been following along for a while now. Thanks for everything! I just wanted to let you all know we got approved today. NOA1 Sept. 28.  NOA2 April. 02. 186 days.  I got an email, the app changed and the old website. The new website has not updated yet and we have not received anything in the mail :D Best of luck to all

Woo hoo! I know you've been patiently waiting for this! Hopefully it's an easy rfe, good luck!

I know my case is complex  but I’m open about it all. I think I’m going to have to submit my criminal background (I’m sure they want this). No biggie. I think they are also going to want more info on past filings. No biggie. Just want to see what they are requesting so that I can just get this over with. Looks like I’ll just take a trip to Morocco near the 20th of this month to pass some time.

At at least they touched my case. I was beginning to feel like they lost it somewhere.

Still nothing 😭😭😭😭 I always thought our case would be soooo easy - im wondering why it takes so long :( 193 days now and no updates ! Any 09/22 filers still waiting as well or am I the only one left 😅?!?

Don’t feel hopeless! The USCIS processing times still says they’re only on the 6th September, although people are being approved faster! Begin to worry when it’s been over 7+ months, but you should be okay! Our case took 211 days and I’ve seen many go up to as far as 230 days. Don’t over think it and try and keep positive!!

Oh gosh over 230 days 😱 That's not good at all. I'm just so curious if it is stuck at the background check or on someone's desk 😖 My fiancé (petitioner) has security clearance so that shouldn't take that long, or could it be the opposite ?! Aaahhhh just so nervous 😩

I’m assuming the 230 day petitioner I saw had an RFE; we didn’t but it took 211 days! I thought ours got stuck but just turned out it was sat on someone’s desk (sad reality is that’s basically where our petitions sit the entire time we’re waiting, lol!) try not to get too nervous, it’ll be okay!! When it passes 7 months, (or if) you can inquire by calling - but I’m sure it won’t be that long!

How did you find out it was on someone's desk :)? I asked my fiancé to call today and ask for more information. We probably won't get anything but at least he tried 😅😖 thank you for your motivation ! Really need that right now 🤗

I don’t know for sure, but it made me feel better in thinking it was! Haha. There’s no way that it would take 7 months for them to sift through a petition and take that long to take action on it!! I called on day 209 and he told me he couldn’t give me any info until it passed 7 months 🙄 got approval 2 days later! I have my fingers crossed for you, can’t wait to see you post here saying you were approved! But until then, be hopeful. Don’t do what I did and stress out so much that I broke out in hives. Definitely wouldn’t recommend 😅

We're September 19th and we don't have any NOA2.........it's so frustrating. ....there's people with over 200 days so there's still hope

Hey all,

I have read the following as a requirement for the interview:

"The original and a copy of the birth certificate of each person named in the application is
required."

This just means me the beneficiary right, not for my fiance the petitioner? WOuld be silly for me to have her courier me her birth certificate for the interview?

Congratulations!finally you got approved.
