@smokeface  This was Minori's answer who had her interview I believe last February:

 

so I'll be just taking passport photocopies.I believe most of those people answered either were just too prepared or specifically required to do so. 

It is not about trust or anything, but giving originals or even taking them to an embassy for someone else's than the applicant herself, I believe is ridiculous

Got our NOA2 in the mail today with no update online

 

Received: 21st September 2017

Approved: 19th March 2018

179 days

 

Congrats to everyone else with approvals and good luck to those of you still waiting.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to go from here? Heard something about an NVC thread

Our rfe says the 12th recieved on 23 in Pennsylvania.

Oh my god guys I'm crying here. Literally. I don't know if it's happiness or sadness but I think it's a bit of both. I'm so happy all your noa2 came in. That's why I keep reading the active months threads. It keeps my spirit up. Thank you so much for sharing your happiness. I love you all!

 Update: We heard from the NVC only about 2 weeks after receiving NAO2! We already got our case number. I actually received 3 emails from the NVC that day, and one of them said that they had approved our request for expedited processing, which is interesting since we never requested that. But all the info checks out, so we just feel pretty happy and lucky that it has fallen together so quickly!

 

NAO1 - Sep 7

NAO2 - Mar 1

NVC receives case - Mar 16

NVC sends out case - Mar 22

US embassy emails us packet 3 - Mar 23

A long time lurker to this forum & this is my first time to post:

NOA1 = 12 September 2017

NOA2 = 23 March 2018

 

Fiance called to give me this good news at 2:40am last night & I thought its just a dreaaaaaaaam!

A special thanks comes from my fiance to @Naes for being a wonderful help; your posts are the ones to always look forward to...
@NICK & PAULA I follow your profile too because I am from Dubai as well..

Now comes the waiting game of NVC & hopefully that goes smooth..

To the ones who haven't received their approval... keep praying & don't lose hope; you all will get there...
