Yeah that's where I was looking. It doesn't even say anything about passport copies for the petitioner. I think I'll just send a photo copy of my bc. I'm sure that will be enough.

I believe the copies of birth cer. (More like proof of citizenship) is connected to i-134, so that’s why it is not a specific requirement.

No convictions, just an arrest because of a crazy ex falsely accusing me of db because she wanted the upper hand when filing for divorce (she took out an emergency order of protection too but everything was dropped/dismissed and I had the arrest expunged).

It became obvious she was lying and i ended up with custody of our kids and the house so Justice was eventually served.. but it was one of the worst years of my life and I wouldn’t wish that hell on anyone.

I'm sorry you experienced that. I would look into the IMBRA section of the forum because there are a lot of topics similar and maybe someone can help you answer your question there... do you have a lawyer?

@missileman

Although not a official source of information and not specific to the K1 visa, in February The San Jose Mercury News reported that H1B Visa applicants have seen a 45% increase in the number of RFEs issued.   The article linked below might provide some insight to what is going on.

H-1B visas: How the Trump administration is ‘freaking people out’

"From January to August 2017, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services sent 85,265 requests for evidence in response to H-1B visa applications, a 45 percent increase compared to the same period a year earlier, agency data show."

Yep this one too. I think I’ve read this in Reuters. I also saw the one about naturalizations.

It was interesting and was on early research papers probably because they were saying in summary; increase in applications during election times are normal but this year the decrease that suppose to happen after the election did not stop. And then there was the part about administration scrutiny and rfes..

I think I found it through my professor in uni. who is doing research on U.S. specifically racism and immigration studies.

Lol, I learnt not to expect too much from them.

Few times it happened to me too, but it was notifications on some of the few cases I was also following.

Mine's still sitting in the dark.

Any Sept 11 NOA1 get NOA2 yet?

From australia.

Yes.

Uscis got approvals up to 21st of September noa1. However not everyone got it as it doesn’t go in an order, but just a general date order.

dont know about the country specific if you are looking for someone in particular though?

Do you need Australia specific information?

If it is about waiting times for noa2, country does not have any connection to how long it takes for the petition to get approval. But if it is about embassy or such you can find many people from Australia in other months topics too.

It is not weird-I mean it it weird but not by uscis standards-, that’s how it works unfortunately.

There are people in may, June. July, August in the same situation :) it takes about 1 month usually for them to go over a date (received date).

Unfortunately that's true. And it is annoying, but nothing we can do about except to pray real hard you're not one of them that they take over a month or two to get to your file.

For myself, I'm praying my prayers will be answered.
