Did this happen to anyone else? I also received a pointless notice from the app late last week saying it changed from "received" to "received."

It happened to everyone.

they updated the wording of the status again : from uscis customer service to contact center.

I think it is a good change in wording, as "customer service" implies they would try to offer help.

Hi! I've been busy with work and haven't had a chance to post right away 😊 I have a question about working/waiting for work authorization... Are beneficiaries able to continue working for their current employer while awaiting work authorization in the US? I work remotely and have a feeling that once I'm ready to leave Canada, my company will ask me if I want to stay with them and continue to work remotely while I'm awaiting work authorization in the US. Obviously, if I'm not allowed I won't be working at all... instead I'll be enjoying a much needed vacation and searching for new employment opportunities. Any ideas?

Hello, have you found any more information about beneficiaries being able to work for their current employers while awaiting work authorization?

Highlight of the week:

me: there were 6 approvals on sept 15 today

fiance: I don't know why they are chipping on our date

me: they are not. It's actually going real strong. They are touching it everyday with 5-6 approvals and there are many silent noa2s on our date.

I believe I started treating him like I treat vj posts.....

fiance: I want it this week.

Me: good luck with that. It can come this week it can come next month..

That's a much pleasant conversation I had with mine this morning.

After checking the mails for 2 weeks and being disappointed each time, he decided to call.

When I woke up, he told me he spoke to Tier 2 and they told him the office that has our case is just working on Sept 1. Since we're Sept 5, we should hear something in 2 weeks.

I told him that's just their standard answer. They are not just working on Sept 1. As far as I know, they are now on Sept 21st even.

He then repeated the office that our case got sent to is only on Sept 1. I told him there's only one centre. Everyone's case is at the same place in California.

Well, basically that leads to a row cos he chose to believe the Tier 2 and our lawyer.

Sigh.... -_-
