We got APPROVED!!!! :) :)

NOA1- September 21st

NOA2 - March 16th

Yessss! I am a sept 21 as well! Congrats :)

I’m glad you’re a Canadian/American couple as well as I’ve heard of Canadian petitions being a little delayed for some reason (you would think we’d be the fastest to get through). Glad that wasn’t the case for you and hoping it’s not for me either!

Yup it's definitely not cheap. The most expensive part of this process for most people won't be the green card fee though. It will be unemployment for four or more months while awaiting work authorization.

Not to be a party pooper, but get ready....all those weekends are gonna feel more painful.  I have been waiting for 2 whole weeks for NVC to receive my approved noa2. we are on a weekend again and Friday was awful since they didn't have an assigned case# for me either. :D I am trying to cheer you guys....the reality is more intense at NVC. Just a little more and interview will be a breeze and we all get our loved ones home!!!

Once I saw the scans that @Naesposted yesterday had reached my NOA1 date, I checked the app. I know many people have had no updates on the app, but for us the case was updated on the app. We live overseas though so the hardcopy might take up to two weeks to reach us.

We are all very happy for you, but really? Are you serious? The majority of this thread is waiting every day for the one letter we've been all waiting for 6 months +-, the one you got 2 weeks ago, really? Waiting 2 weeks for a case number cant be worse than being without a clue about your petition. You are approved, that's it, celebrate and start organizing the next steps.

I understand your frustration, but you are inside normal processing time, it will come.
