everyone

Today was my interview it went ok ok but they didn’t approved my case yet, for some additional documents they put on hold and gave me the 221 g white slip

they wanted more documents like photo email, chat , video chat records, evidence of all ticket, hotel reservation which I have already submitted and carried with me during interview. I don’t have problem to submit all this again but most weird part is they ask for evidence that we have made plan for a wedding in th us like reservation with an officiant or court date, printed wedding invitations, a list of vendors and their contact information, receipts for wedding outfit and rings receipt and also they want list of planned wedding guests theirs relationships to us addresses and phone numbers hold on not finish notarized statements describing how we met each other and why did we decided to get married. Any ways we are willing to try this also but my question what if we booked every things they asked for In USA and we paid the token amount to everyone and my visa will not be approved by consular then we have to face huge loss..

anyone has asked to submit these type of evidence please do reply me back

POE at O'Hare Int'l Airport in Chicago yesterday - no questions asked by CBP! Very smooth entry to UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Itinerary:
Cebu-Shanghai China (delayed for 1 hr and 20 minutes on China Eastern Airlines)
Shanghai-O'Hare Int'l Airport ( China Eastern made a new arrangement on our flight since we didn't catch our original flight going to San Francisco which was supposed to be our POE,  so,  if you missed your flight, you don't have to worry cos airline will take care of that with no charge at all)
Chicago-Austin (very smooth process in getting our baggage)

Hey, how are you? Have you heard anything yet? I can't believe it's so incredibly slow for you - have you made any inquiries?

Hey! Are you settling well there?

I know, we haven’t heard anything still. Just submitted another inquiry on the 12th. FI called them yesterday and was told he can’t be transferred to a Tier 2 cos I have made an inquiry already. 😒

Hello my dear Berries!

In a few hours I'm heading to Moscow and start my 24-hours-trip to the US! It still feels unreal. Maybe it'll feel more real once I'm at the airport...

I know that our journey was so smoothly comparing to many people here, and I should be thankful and happy (I really am!!), but I can't get rid of this sad feeling of leaving people here, especially my little niece and my Grammy. I hope homesickness won't be too hard once I'm there.

I hope everyone is doing well either in the US or in your home countries! And I'm rooting for those without approval, I really really wish you get it asap!

I am! I still can't shake the feeling that it's just a vacation, maybe because it's the summer and a lot of my friends, family and former colleagues back in Sweden have holidays and time off school/work. I feel like eventually, I'll be going back too, so I wonder when that's really going to sink in that that's not the case.

That is awful. I really wonder what it could be that's taking so long. Either way you should have the right to know what's going on (or not going on). Whether it's a background check that's taking time or someone simply forgot about the application. How are you guys holding up?

Oops! I thought I responded to you already! ^_^

So has that feeling sunk in already? :P

I know... Inquiries are useless. 294 days, FI can't wait any longer. So despite having no news yet, I have given work my last day notice for end of next month. Gonna head to the US on my visiting visa and buy a Flexi ticket to wait together. Once we have the approval, I will fly back to do the medical and interview.

How frustrating. We thought the next time I enter the US will be for good. Oh well, we didn't want more time taken away from us. Meanwhile, FI is now drafting an email to his senator. Hopefully, it'll bring us something good.

On another note, any one knows how long the police clearance letter is good for?

Back then, I was optimistic enough to obtain the letter in March.

After an Atlantic Ocean amont  of tears, lots of stress, 5 pounds gained 😒 and a recycle bin  full of wine bottles I’m happy to announce while sitting on my heavily delayed flight  to be with my fiancé I received our approval!!! So we are proof that you can come back from a NOID! Thanks everyone for all your help! Now what do I do next?

Congrats!!!

Go join June Approvals for NVC.

You'll wait about 2-3 weeks to get the case number but by following that thread you can see which noa2 dates are getting their numbers.

Don't forget to have a lot of ties to your home especially now you're quitting your job before going.

PC is usually good for 1 year but may depend on the country obtained from.

Hi Fellow September Filers!

I am in a bit of confusion with the process. I was sent the Package 3 and I mailed back the DS-160 and applicant form.

Question #1: Is the DS-160 and Applicant form the response to Package 3? I am looking at the timelines of some of you here but I don't understand some of it.

Question #2: After sending in the DS-160, should I be waiting for a response from the embassy for an appointment date? It has been such a long time that I am having doubts about whether I have to wait on them or am I suppose to take some sort of action.

Question #3: Just a clarification, I can only do the medical examination after I receive an appointment date, correct?
