We got the employment letter and the I-134 signed just before we received our NVC number if I remember correctly, so that should be fine. If the NVC stage would take unusually long you can just update the signatures and send again.

We did not do photocopies of any other wet signature than the one on the tax return, however I believe it should be fine to use copies for the other signed documents too because I read that the policy is wet signature, not necessarily original wet signature. But it's probably best to consult with someone who had a successful interview with copied signatures in if you want to go that route, as I can only speak for our case.

No copy of the I-129F is no problem. It's not needed for any thing other then possibly avoiding discrepancy between your answers in the I-129F and in the I-134, for example. And by the way, we got emailed our approved I-129F when we got our NVC number, so you will probably get yours back too.

Thank you very much .I appreciate your response.

Pls what original documents did u take with you for your interview? Or were they all copies from your fiancé?

Are you the petitioner? I’m the beneficiary and for the interview I took my:

passort

original birth certificate

passport photos

police certificate

adviate of support form

and an entire copy of the I129f

what embassy are you going through?

The only things my Fiancé sent over to me was:

the copy of the I-129F and the adviate of support form. He sent copies off to USCIS of his passport and birth certificate with the I-129f so he didn’t need to send these again.

hope this helps :)

Hi thank you very much. I am the petitioner and my fiance lives in Thailand. I don't know anyone who has gone through the embassy in Thailand.

i'm so upset right now, i am trying to get a letter from my employer for the employment verification, so i sent out a sample to the H,R and she says she cannot sign nor provide a letter unless it is sent directly to them from USCIS like seriously? i even tried to explain to her that USCIS does not send out such information and she still wouldn't listen. Lord my frustration level is at 200%

Hey berries. Just wanted to check in to let you all know I arrived in the US late last night. JFK was a breeze and I wish everyone the best of luck going forward. It is a surreal experience to finally be here, but I feel so good :) Well, at least for now. Next up is months and months of waiting for the work authorization... :D Happy Friday all!

So happy you made it!! Your fiance must be over the moon to finally have you there for good.

Glad you're done with the long distance and this nightmare of a process had ended for you. Congratulations!!!!

On the other hand...... Who else is still waiting and heard absolutely nothing from them? I can't be the only one right? Rightttt???

My bank account may not be able to sustain much longer from all these online shopping I'm doing to cope!

PS. It should have been sooner,  however,  I had to render 30 days prior to my resignation from my company. Good thing cos for me, I was able to get a Certificate of Employment which I can use when I'll apply for work. (Company is US Based)

Good luck to those who are still waiting. We all really need PATIENCE for this waiting game.

Hello berries. How many of you guys are still waiting for NOA2 as I am??

Just curious, you haven't received an RFE or any kind of update at all?

Did you try contacting your state senator or congressman/woman to look into it?

I'm a november filer but just hopped into this thread because I was curious if there are people that still didn't even get an RFE or approval by now. Thanks.

Thanks for the information! I wish you luck with the process, it's not right that you've had to wait this long!!!

Of you haven't contacted your senator or congressman yet, I would consider it. Everyone I've heard of that has done that has received an answer within a few days as long as their inquiry  date was passed, which yours has! Good luck to you!
