What does it mean when your case is “pending review with an adjusicatjons officer”?

After doing an inquiry that’s the response I got.

Does that mean the security checks are done?

To my understanding "pending review with an adjusicatjons officer" means they have it already and it's assigned to an adjudicator who will review it when he reaches your file.

Or its there with them but they have not assigned it to anyone but immediately they reach your file they'll review it.

Sending you positive vibes! You’ll hear something very soon!

What did they ask for your RFE if you don't mind me asking? All they wanted from us was proof we've been together within the last 2 years (which we already sent when we originally filed).

Where/How did you do the inquiry?

I don’t know if you asked because you are going to. But, Don’t do an inquiry. You’re really really close. (and probably they wouldn’t let you cause after rfe you need to give 60 days for one)

I already submitted a inquiry online. Was that a bad move? It said to expect a response by the end of the month, but I just figured the worst that could happen is they tell me it's being worked on.

Well not always bad but sometimes complicated situations. When did you submit?

the worst is, you get approved and they send your file but because they’re not logical they sometimes just ask back the file from NVC to reply the inquiry... seriously no logic in anything..

Right after I asked how the other person submitted an inquiry (I should have done a Google search myself instead of asking here). So maybe 5 minutes ago.

Ok let’s hope they’ll just ignore it :)

it is really too too early to be worried after rfe (although it is frustrating)

edit: the problem occurring wouldn’t come up with a google research because we only see these problem occurring rarely around. So fingers crossed they’ll ignore it.

When should I be worried? After 60 days?

Normally k1 rfes resolve within a month rarely goes up to 60. But 14 days is really considered normal. It also depends the rfe. What was yours about?

For example:

If it was just forgetting to answer a question on form it resolves rather quickly depending on the question (1-2 weeks)

if its relationship proof and +, it may take a little bit longer as they need to make a decision based on that.

All they wanted was proof we'd met within the last 2 years which was weird because we sent proof when we initially filed. But for the RFE we sent back more dated pictures, airline tickets, and passport stamps.

Then they’re just reviewing it because it is an initial part of the application. It looks like you’ve sent lots of hard proof.

I know you must be worried, but really timelinewise it is still normal. Hopefully you’ll hear something by next week.
