So I have a quick question, I have the USCIS app on my phone, and it’s juat flashed up with a notification saying status changed, and I’ve gone onto it and it still just says received?! Does this mean it’s being reviewed?!

OK just to give everyone hope ........ my approved petition only took 12 days to get to the NVC from the CSC !!!

approved 3/3/18 and NVC got it 3/15/18

That's great, far better than the 40 to 60 days it was taking in December.  All I want now is the NOA2!

Totally!  That's really encouraging.  We are hoping that the upside to us being a little behind (we're 8 sept), we can clear the NVC faster since things are picking up.  Maybe even get an interview earlier - but that may be too much to ask!

Is anyone experience USCIS are not doing according to the date of receiving it’s sound strange

please fill out your timeline as it's important for tracking :)

and that's always been this way. they don't go from day to day, their range is very wide, so they touch cases from june - sept 18th. a bit crazy as that doesn't make any sense, but that's how they do..

just stay patient a bit longer and you'll hear back soon

So, they do any cases without following the date of receiving or according to serial case number

I’m totally confused

They don't complete an entire date before moving onto the next one. The initial security checks take longer on some cases, which will delay processing. Some workers work faster than others. There are a multitude of factors that go into processing times.
