Their "official website" says October 5th. How can anyone still be saying September 1?

I called today and they told me they are Officially On September 1st! I’m so over this situation! I’m so glad I’m a travel blogger and will be traveling for a month to get my mind off all of this in a few weeks! And I’m 237 days BTW 😩

Seriously ?? Did you tell them if they checked their own website????

Hope you too hear something. Its frustrating af but soon very soon it will happen

Is there even any reason you can think of?? or did they give you any of the "assigned to an adjudicator" or "security checks pending" ?

This whole things is a mess for the past month! they are jumping all over the place, most of September is still here! I am well past pissed as if they're just trying to make it worse again after they started cleaning the mess up!

I've checked their new report it says they approved only 5700 cases last quarter! I'm starting to think they are trying to keep numbers low or something!

@Naes Do you know if "submitting an inquiry" online or otherwise is the thing some people were warning against doing because it would pull your case back from NVC if your case had silently been moved ahead? Does that make sense?

It is the same as calling and making an inquiry. so yes but the problem with these cases and why I said that before is different as they are already moving to November (or trying to) I just wouldn't put an inquiry when the month is active. And I still don't think an inquiry will help but what else is there to do ?

From what I gather but this is not always true obviously. some cases that wait longer were waiting because there was a possible (this are just a guesses from the members themselves) old criminal record (nothing big), or travelled A LOT, or rejected entry to US once. These are all I could come up with. That's why I am asking if there is any reason to think of that can justify this situation... although nothing does justify this.

My fiancé was told that our package was fine. That we didn't need anything but snow cases take longer to come back from background checks. It shouldn't take that long to know something about us. I'm mad because exclusively September 6th has not been touched as other dates. Only 46 people still waiting or maybe less that didn't update

Wait so did they tell you it is back from checks? When was it?

And yes I am trying to see September 6 everyday. Cases with lower numbers always gets stuck after a while..

I am by the way sorry for bursting out the other day, I am frustrated with you too believe me I am. It was facts all I could give but I should have been calmer.

I've been in the USA 4 times and never rejected. My fiancé got a ticket when he was 20 years. This is terrible

No a ticket can't be reason to this... Your case just seemed to get the sloth adjudicator or something!

I mean don't misunderstand me if there was only 2 people waiting here I would understand. I don't understand how this many people  are still waiting from September!

I always thought June was almost finished too, and yesterday I just saw someone who just never posted before just getting their approval... I don't get the f-ing logic

Oh don't worry about that I didn't take it personal and it wasn't against you either.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Yup.

This is why calling them doesn't do anything as well cos the Tier 2 will only try to help you submit an inquiry online (like I can't do it myself) and when this appears, it only validates their stance that they are still on September 1 only.

Beyond frustrating.
