I am so sorry about your situation. May I ask why do you think your noa2 is taking so long? You dont have any rfe either...it must be so tough.

The only thing I can think of is our packet what we sent it was quite big due to visiting each other 7 times over the three years we have been together some was for three months at a time so we had a lot of trips to include.

Day 238.

I have a concern. Have been on the June forum following John&Rose's case. Learnt that their application was denied due to him not disclosing an expunged case.

Thing is, my fiance has an expunged case too. I wasn't there when he filled up the application form. Plus, we had a lawyer who did it all for us. Later on, I did ask him did he disclose it on the form and he told me he was advised by the lawyer not to since it was expunged (like it did not exist) and don't want it to complicate matters.....

Well now..... I'm afraid that might be a matter of concern... :(

I really hope it won't... :(

My lawyer was aware and marked it incorrectly. I'm I the process of filing a amendment. Also having lawyer state it was his fault for not disclosing the information when he was made fully aware from the get go.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I feel like that should help your case more than delay it. It bother me so much you have to wait this long without any idea. Have you reached out to your local congress person or state senator to help you?

Did he get an RFE or did they just deny him right away?

Seems to be about 2-4 weeks although some people have gotten a response in 7-14 days. I am awaiting the answer to my RFE as well. It was received last Thursday.

The official estimate right now is up to 60 days but very few people are and/or have waited that long for a NOA2 post RFE

Hello,

My first time posting but I've been following this thread for quite some time. I'm finally relieved to get approved. I thought I would share my journey so far

Case received: 22 September 2017

RFE recieved: 31 March 2018

RFE sent: 18 April 18

NOA2 approved: 30 April

I had been checking both the old and new website everday and i just checked now and the old website said it was still reviewing my case but then I checked the new website and it confirmed my case was approved on the 30th April.

My RFE was to send intent to marry letter even though this was provided originally with a lot of proof but they had asked to send more proof within the previous 2 years. I just resent my flight reciepts, printed photos and dated them and with my letter of intent I elaborated more on how I met my fiance (we met online), noted the dates we visited each other and our plans when we do get married.

Well best of luck to those who are still awaiting a response hopefully more approvals are received this week 😊
