New to visajourney but excited to connect with others going through this process.

Applied: 9/7/2017

Case number received: 9/18/2017

RFE: 3/27/2018 (letter of intent to marry from fiancé)

CSC Received RFE: 4/19/2018

Hoping to hear the next step really soon!!

My fiancé and I are officially at 231 days as well! Hoping we both hear something very soon! 🤞🏻

RFE received on 4-4-18 @ 233 days right now. Does the new website have silent NOA2s as well? It’s starting to stress me out as we just hit 3 weeks waiting yesterday.

I wish I had an answer for you but I’m not sure. Honestly, I hadn’t heard of a silent noa2 until I joined this thread today but I am hoping someone else on this thread is able to help answer your question!

We are not 100% sure but I’ve only seen one silent noa didn’t update even on the new website.

My fiancé updated his address on April 11th and we got an email saying that they updated it April 13th. So I guess that is the action.

I wish they just finished it up while updating that part...

Does anyone know how long it typically takes for USCIS to respond once you’ve sent in the documents requested in an RFE? Ours specifically requested a letter on intent to marry even though we provided a letter from both myself and my fiancé when we applied.

Thank you!

They're being buttholes at the moment, asking RFE's for things people have sent with the original application. Usually after an RFE you will get approved within two weeks. Some have taken (much) longer, but two weeks seems the standard.

Thank you! I’m hoping we’ll be closer to the two week mark. 🤞🏻 Also crossing my fingers for everyone waiting for their responses and approvals!

I’m visiting from the August thread. I’m still waiting for a response to the evidence that I supplied, three weeks later. Hoping for an approval soon.
