Good day to all and congrats on newly approved cases. 

 

Today i I will go to the courts and obtain the papers for my noa2 and hopefully mail them out and wait for approval. I’ve never had to be questioned about my criminal background but I guess seeing all the stories about violence USCIS is really cracking down on things. My crimes were all against myself (I’m a recovering addict 20 + years clean). I think I will also do another DOJ/FBI scan as well. I want to go ahead and do my Prop 47 and clear up everything. 

 

For thise that are still waiting for approval I know it’s hard and remember that all things happen in HIS time and not ours. Sometimes learning to be patient is a lesson.

I received my NOA2 in the mail four days ago, but website still doesn't acknowledge it.  Has anyone else run into that?  Also, I wonder how long I will have to wait for next step in the process.

Many people never get a digital update or get it very late. Have you tried the new website? (See the link in my signature).

What happens next is that the package will be sent to the NVC who will send it on to the embassy in your (beneficiaries) country. You should be able to call the embassy later this week to see if your case has been received and what your new casenumber is. https://sites.google.com/view/post-noa2/home

After that it all depends on the embassy.

Don't worry about that. I received my noa2 27th of feb and website until now says received 😂 I have an interview a week from today. Wait around 2 weeks and call nvc asking for a case number. After you got it you can book medical. It won't take you long from now on 😊

So out of desperation I called USCIS today. The woman basically told me that if I don't hear anything by Monday then I should call them back and they can make an inquiry. Is there any reason I shouldn't do the inquiry on Monday? We are at day 204 now and she said usually the website doesn't update the status of the case so she advised me to call on Monday to put in a inquiry since then it'll be officially outside of normal processing times.
