Hi everyone, got a case status update today. It says "Your Name was updated"? what does this mean? I never changed my name. I filed 2/16/2017 and my case was transferred from CSC to NSC on 3/13/2018.

@ilovemacaron this happens just before your case is about to get approved. Standard process, wierd, i know. I got the same email a week ago and today I got my approval. I filed 2/14/2017.

How long did it take for most people to get their Green card in the mail after getting the approval letter? I got my approval letter today and it says it can take up to 60 days for it to come in the mail. I filed at CSC transferred to NSC on 3/15/2018 approval date 5/7/2018. Thanks

my friend has the similar timeline likes you and been waiting for more than one and a half month after the approve.no card is mail out yet.

I got in after 15 days approximately after approval letter. I hope you will get it soon.

Hello everyone. 

I received an email from automated system that uscis is still reviewing my case. And that’s ok. But strange thing is that in the email they are saying that they last took action on my case April 6th, 2018. But when I log in to my account I don’t have any updates for that date. It’s only March glitch and May transfer... I don’t mean that I’m worried about it but just curious... why they are saying that they took action on that specific date when Nothing is shown on the account🧐

VSC applicant, NOA1: 2/21/17. I got my Approval Notice in the mail yesterday! Notice date: 5/14/18. The case status on uscis.gov never updated. No idea why the process was delayed, but I'm glad it's over : )

I got the same email today. I think it's because you filed N400 ? I do not think it's related to our I751.

It’s not related to n400. I received same kind of email yesterday regarding n400 and date over there was correct. So it has to be i751. Maybe just another glitch. Getting used to all those glitches already

Sorry to drop in...lol but same here. I got approved on April 8, my online case status did change to card mailed to me. But I called with a tier 1 & 2 the other day and they told me it hasn't been mailed yet.

even they said you can get your card within 60 days,  i highly doubt about it.

Hi Erinandahmet! We were at the CSC, but have now be transferred to the NSC. We didn't apply for the N-400 yet because we don't want any confusion. I do know that you can apply if you'd like before your I-751 is approved, but we're choosing not to until we get the 10 year green card first. Don't want to confuse anyone in immigration. 

 

You might want to make an InfoPass appointment for an I-551 stamp in your passport if you haven't already done so. I think that is what pushed ours along. Hope that helps out.

Hi! Yeah, we did that last month. The USCIS phone says we were transferred, but we never received any letter, update or anything. At the appt. the officer said it was an interoffice transfer out of the national archives. So I see February approvals and RFEs starting, but they mostly seem to be cases that were actually transferred somewhere else. 

We are also waiting to apply for the N-400 since our local office will take 1 1/2 years approximately. :/

So I was just looking at the app. I am trying to see if there are any patterns. I am not sure how to interpret it, but more eyes could help. These are the case numbers around our number and we filed in 2/6 (although on the paper it said the date when it was entered in line I guess was 2/10, but on the websites it still says 2/6) 


"Received at local office"               "Transferred to a new jurisdiction"

It seems like the people whose cases were transferred are starting to be looked at but not necessarily the people still at CSC. Any thoughts? or additions? I am looking at the 100 cases near to our number.
