Actually not true, you can get updates, someone got an interview notice for N400  a week ago and it was on a Sunday. Remember some AOS cases were approved at a weekend when I was waiting for my AOS. Its not common but it does happen. :)

I missed you @shell20!!!!!! Thanks for the insight Shell. So now all 7 days I am going to be on the lookout🙄

Awww, I am back for a couple of days, then off to England.  Yes, you need to watch out, even at weekends. If you go to the N400 Feb filers 2018, you will see that someone received an interview notice on Sunday, not yesterday but the week before, so it can happen any time. :)

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)

Well it's dated May 1st and that's when the first new local office status popped up so it may just be a letter saying that our case was transferred. Or maybe it actually is approval. Who knows. Has anyone else seen a letter coming?

Also I'm going to add it looks like I can see a face in the peice of mail. It may just be a pixel distortion though.

Standard transfer because you've applied for citizenship. The two files will be combined at the NBC and then transferred to your local office.

I see, thank you for the info @Derwood. Have you seen this happen before and did it mean that we are closer towards interview or is this like a standard step in the process and the end is still far farther away? Also how do we know if background check is done? I have heard that it is the longest step in the process and if it is done, then it moves quickly to interview, not sure if it is a true fact though . Thanks again!🌼

Yes it happened to Derwood, he got an interview notice a couple of weeks after the transfer. The NBC co-ordinates interviews for N400.  Surprised it wasn't transferred before now to be honest.
