Hey folks,

I had my infopass appointment today in San Jose, CA to get a stamp on my passport as our ROC is still pending. Everything went very smooth, the IO only asked for my passport and the extension letter, then checked (I believe) my information in the system, wrote some stuff on my passport and gave me a stamp which is valid for 1 year. Just wanted to share with you guys, the whole appointment was very fast and easy, like 5-10min :)

Usually they take your green card too.

I was always hesitant to get a stamp because of that.

So, as far as I remember, the IO didn’t even check my GC, he only looked at the extension letter and his computer. When I arrived at his window, I gave him my passport, the extension letter, my GC and my drivers license but he only looked at those 2 docs that I mentioned before. At the end, he said “you’re all good” so I grabbed my documents from the desk, thank the officer, and left.

Hi Guys

I just got an update about my case. I am a February  2017 filer too. Before, my case was received in my local office. Does this mean that my case is being transferred again somewhere else? What should I expect next?

Thank you guys

Congrats for those already approved and Good luck for those scheduled for interviews.

Just recieved an email saying recent action was taking, saw same exact thing when i logged in. Only difference is my case was transfered to local office before because i had an interview a month and a half ago, even though i never recieved a transfer notice. Now this is showing, what could it mean?. Is it another transfer in this endless rollercoaster, or could it mean finally they must be processing the case and the step before approval.

Hello everyone. Got transfer notice today online. I guess it’s because of my N400 that I filed in March. Didn’t get paper notice yet. Only Uscis.gov updated. Myaccount.dhs doesn’t show anything new yet.

Why would they transfer if you already had your interview, that wouldnt make sense. Unless you have applied for N400 perhaps and its getting transferred to NBC.

Busy bees aren't they and yes probably transferred either to NBC to arrange interview or your local field office. I NEVER get transfers, did you use the other number or something?
