I've tried adding my name to the list at least twice, but I still don't pop up there. As an update, I tried applying for a mortgage from Sofi this week (divorce waiver), and was asked about the NOA and GC that were expired according to them.

 

I know, I know, I should probably wait until after I get my 10 year GC before doing this. But my life has progressed in the meantime, and I am confident that I will approved. Eventually.

This is pretty weird to me. Although I get the date for N400 interview on April 16th, my green card extension will be expired on April 9th. I was trying to schedule an info-pass for my passport stamp. But what happened was the system did not allowed me to make an appointment and said that I already had an appointment scheduled. ??? I was not sure if the system was error so I tried making an appointment with random name but it works with other name! Seems like they just only blocked me form making an appointment......don't know what to do :blink:

04/08/14 - Fingerprint fee accepted

04/09/14 - USCIS Noa1 notice date and check cashed next day

04/11/14 - Got text/e-mail notification for I-485, I-131 and I-765 at 1:09 a.m. & check cleared in the morning

05/06/14 - Fingerprint done

06/12/14 - EAD card production date & AP approval date

06/20/14 - Received EAD/AP Combo card in hand + text/email notice for delivery status :lol:

I haven't, not sure if some off the earlier filers have, I am sure they have as its absolutely ridiculous these processing times. I feel if it continues this way there will be a mass lobbying of Senators and perhaps USCIS may sit up and take notice.

We couldnt tell you definitely at this moment in time. There have been things going on with cases statuses, like a whole batch of files came out of the dungeon apparently (well according to an IO, but honestly we don't know whether its going to speed up or stay at its current slow, slow stop pace.

Do you need the stamp?  You are still in status until your case has been approved and your appointment is a week after the green card extension. Hopefully your ROC will be adjudicated before your N400, but I doubt it as your interview for N400 is so close.  I guess you could do a walk in or ring up the mis information line and ask their advice. Sorry I wish I could help more, but the computer system is saying no! :(

Thank you, Shell. I don't know if I need it or it's okay to have GC extension letter expired. I don't have travelling plan until this summer. Will try doing walk in if I can go : )
