It could happen but its rare, normally its a joint interview unless they are already in the middle of looking at your file.  Could be it went to Nebraska and could be you will be approved in the next week or it could be that your N400 started a chain of events, like sending both files to NBC to arrange an interview, hard to know without knowing when you filed for N400 and hard to know as we don't know which service centre it went too.  What is certain is that a transfer is a good thing, wherever it goes, it means movement.   Hope you hear shortly and good luck with your N400 also! :)

Well, looks like action has been taken already on my N400... but like true uscis form, their website is down and I cannot access the page to login. I filed about a month ago and did my biometrics last week. I wonder what action this is.

What is your timeline like with your current GC and when did you get it?

Since you did your biometrics last week I doubt it is an interview notice. Most likely they will inform you that they have reviewed your biometrics and are actively reviewing your case.

Well it looks like their GC was late April/early May reading their timeline above, so could be an interview notice.

Either an interview letter or to say they have reviewed your biometrics and there is nothing more they want from you, however I received that email the day after my biometrics.

My current timeline is in my signature. I'm a February 2017 ROC filer and still waiting on my 10 yr GC. I filed for my N400 last month.

Yep, you're both right! It's just a notice that they reviewed my biometrics. I have been getting a 505 error when trying to access the account page, so maybe that's why it wasn't sent immediately after. Who knows with USCIs. It looks like my estimated completion time for my N400 is Jan 2019... I hope it's sooner if it becomes joint. I get such anxiety traveling with my expired GC and extension letter along with the stamp. I have everything covered but so nervous about officers who may not understand the process.

Oh so they are decisive with your case then! I am sure it will move somewhere shortly, dont give up hope.  Not sure if you are a ROC filer or in these times lately a joint filer, if you are a joint filer it will most definitely move somewhere probably the NBC, before your field office, if you are a ROC filer, then it can move a number of places Texas, Nebraska, up into the office or to a field office, its like being plucked out of a hat, perhaps that is what they do each morning, generate case numbers and take them out of a hat?   Sorry you didn't get better news, but again I would remain hopeful as things are moving for most people and I am guessing they just dont want to give much news out in case people want to have updates.

Looks like my I751 case has had the initial review completed and is transferred to a MO office? Never heard of a MO office before but got the official letter in today.
