Hi Camtor,

I am getting an N400 interview at Boston Office as yours on April 16th. Did you also get "the case transfer to local office" message on March 4th?

I contacted my senator last week and they just confirmed that my pending 751 is at Boston office. It's not at VSC as I thought. Hopefully it would be a joint interview. I will keep you update.

Good Luck!

Hi Pat80,

We did get the case transfer notice, several times, so many times in fact that it is now hard to recall when the first time was. It was somewhere around that time though. I also hope it will be a joint interview. Please let us know how it goes for you! Best of luck!

Way to go Pat80.  Im glad you contacted your senator, hope they pestered and pestered the USCIS about your ROC and say its not acceptable the long wait time. Not long to your interview, so happy for you and please let us know how you got on.  Interesting also to know it has been transferred to your local office. :)

Yeah, I really hope you will hear something soon. As far what they do, to me it is a big mystery. We speculate and guess, while USCIS confuses us further. Cannot wait for all this to be over for all of us!

I will announce what I hear around April 26th lol. Only 20 days to go.

yes, this is interesting as I saw many cases were not transferred despite we received "transferred" message from USCIS. They might just actually transfer it when my senator asked

I think when it said transferred with some cases it went for their warehouse up to the office, which is transferred in a way.  Shame you wont see the card and if you do you will have to give it back, thats what they said to me at my biometrics recently. It's like noooooooo , you can't take my card that I waited so long to receive! :(

Congratulations!!!  I am SO surprised it was that quick to receive, mine took nearly a month from approval to delivery, so I suspect yours came from the local office or someone at USCIS likes you?   Go celebrate enjoy your time with the GC as when you apply for citizenship, they have great delight telling you that they will take the card of you.

Should I go to Social Security to do some changes in my card based on my ROC card?

Not that Im aware off, you would have changed the Social security card once you received AOS to say youre entitled to work.  Unless Im unaware of something else. I haven't seen anyone discussing this, but a good question.

That would be good and then you can share it with us.    As far as N400 its dependent on your office, however, if you apply online it takes around a few days before you get your biometrics appointment, they are normally around 3 weeks later.  Interviews are dependent on your field office and the date on your conditional GC.  For example I applied on 28th Feb, about three days later I received my biometric letter. I had my bio metric appointment on the 22nd of March. I am expecting to receive my appointment letter around the 26th April, a month before my 3 year anniversary on my conditional GC. I expect my interview will be sometime in June as my office is at 5 months processing times, so pretty quick hopefully for me. I wouldn't be surprised if my Naturalisation ceremony is around July 4th.

I wonder if we have to surrender both cards at the oath ceremony. I think I'm only going to hand over the 10-year GC and keep the conditional one just as sort of a memory lol are we allowed?

I think I remember you saying you received your GC around St Patty's Day. It would be awesome if your oath ceremony came around July 4th as well haha I'm applying for the N400 with ROC pending.
