I received an email with the following note: (I think the action was a change of address, as I did move effective November 1, 2017.)

Wow, lots has changed. Life got in the way, and I wasn't able to keep up with the thread for a while.

Anyhow, my wife was scheduled for her N-400 interview here in our Boston office on May 4th. Guessing it will be a joint interview, since there is absolutely no progress on the removal of conditions front. As I mentioned before my wife got her passport stamped with an extension for 1 year (about 1 month ago).

Sooo...i got another email today, followed by a text msg.

It says:

"There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: WAC××××××××××

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On April 4, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number WAC×××××××××, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by May 4, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. "

I guess it is time to get excited after all!!

Now I wonder how long till the letter gets here...:pop:

Fingers crossed more people have some forward movement too!

Cheers!

Wow, congratulations firstly. Just wow as youre Vermont and it should have been approved by now. I guess a joint filing might have delayed that?  Any way good luck, shame you wont see your GC though, you could have taken a picture of it and hung it on the wall as decor to remember the LONG journey! :)

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Shell, You crack me up as always! Thank you for that. I cannot think about this whole thing anymore. I just hope for my wife's sake that she gets a joint interview, and we do not have to chase our tail with the whole green card approval first. I can't find it, but did Pat80 have a joint interview in the end?

May the 4th be with everyone on here. We all need it!

Yes Pat 80 has a joint interview. I think they are a January N400 filer and I believe it may be this month. So exciting. They will do both so don't worry about ROC, just make sure your wife is up to date on her civics test. Question for you, to see if my theory is right, was it the 3rd anniversary of your GC date recently? :)

Which is my theory they send it a month before that  3rd year date, albeit yours was a tad late, but it has been Easter and I guess they never rush anything.

Haha, yes I suppose. We actually got the notification that the interview was scheduled last Friday April 30th, so you are pretty much right on!
