I found this article online by accident and it explains why USCIS changed the way it shows its processing time. In case anyone wants to check it out:

https://blog.lucidtext.com/2018/03/23/rc-authorization-to-9-30-2018-processing-times-new-rcs/

So basically a cop out and not a solution, so people don't inquire about processing times when they are outside of them.  It's like you asking me how long will I take to build your house. I say 6 months, then there is a problem with the bricks or dry rot or whatever, after a year you complain, so simple tell you it will take whenever, no time frame. End of problem!!   Just remember all these people in power got there with the vote of the people, use your feet everyone!!

I have a similar timeline as yours.  ROC-FEB 2017 and N400 FEB 2018

Oh and a joint ROC/N400 from Minnesota on Feb N400

filers had an update through the "bug" that their case was transferred to a field officer for review today. :)

Confirmation of interview date 05/18/18. About 6 weeks for prep.

I am glad to see that. I assume you would be done with your naturalization process in less than 3 months.

Thanks a lot and I am having a great journey because of cool people like you. By the way, I would love to go on a cruise it's full of adventure and fun. I would only go when I am done with this process because I kinda feel I am stuck on something

What was your estimated wait time when you first filed N-400?

Yes we have a similar timeline. My i751 is still pending and I'm a Columbus filer with CSC service center but N400 is online filing. Well this is the mother of all interviews because if my N400 is approved 99.99% my ROC will be approved.

I'd like to add when my husband and I went to get his stamp yesterday the IO wrote in red pen under the stamp the "bug" case number.

Nothing, They will process your N400 as normal. Most likely you will get the NOA  and biometric appointment few days after you file.

You still have to attend the interview. The N400 has no influence in the i751 but the i751 has to be approved in order for you to get approved for the N400.

I hate to say this but N400 can not be approved before ROC. Now, since you have a pending ROC and you are called for the N400 interview chances are they will combine (ROC and N400)  interviews in the same day. If they interview you only for the N400 you might pass the tests but the IO won't be able to make a decision right away, he gonna have to put your case on hold while they wait decision on the ROC. Condition on a green card has to be removed first in order to get approved  for the N400. Good luck and lets pray they combine both interviews or they approve your ROC before your interview day.
