So @shell20 what you are saying is. If you apply for N400 while ROC is pending. you should receive an interview 1 month before your 3rd year anniversary? ofcourse not ALL cases but for the most part you think this is what happens?

Yes I do, someone tracked this pattern on VJ a while back and its pretty much accurate. Although, its dependent on field offices it seems. The ones getting these interviews primarily don't seem to have massive backlogs at their field offices.

Good morning. Unfortunately, I do not see an arm, can you see an arm on it?   Not sure your timeline.   Have you made an inquiry recently?   Im not sure if its a case transfer, an RFE or an interview.  If I saw an arm of the statue of liberty I would say an approval. Seems like it is from a field office though. Its progress though.

My tracking says case was received at my local office on March the 5th

Probably VSC sent me a letter notifying me case was transferred to local office

I dont know, i just have to wait

Thank you Shell

I have not made any inquiry at all and the address the envelope has is Vermont service center

it means it is a field office?

So it is. Sorry I havent had enough coffee or tea yet.   It may well be a notice to say your case is transferred or a request for further evidence.  I doubt its an interview as I am not sure that Vermont write about interviews, I would imagine that would come from a local field office, although I may be wrong.

Well lets be logical here, they can't interview anyone for joint ROC/N400 if they can't approve you because you have not waited 3 years of the conditional residency.  Although what really gets me going is we all know if we file through marriage we have been married more than 3 years. So it should say you need to have a conditional GC for 3 years, not you need to be married for 3 years.

Well I think thats what is says though. That you need to be married with the same USC for 3 years and have a GC for at least 2 years 9 months before you can apply for N400.

Yes you need to be married for 3 years, it should say you need to hold a conditional GC for 3 years if you are married to a USC.  Any way changing the subject, they must have interviews already lined up as I doubt they wait until a month before the 3rd anniversary and just book it on that date. They just send the notice on that date, if you know what I mean.  I confuse myself sometimes.

Well then its either a case transfer or an RFE. I wish I could say its an approval but I dont see the arm.  Even so its progress, rather than being in the abyss.  If its an RFE then you should have your approval within a couple of weeks of sending back the information. If its a case transfer then at least you know its at your field office and could be approved any day now.

Usually If it has the arm of the Statue of Liberty it’s an approval.

Thank you so much

Does the arm of the statue of liberty have to be on the envelope or in the window of the envelope?

Its the window of the envelope, on the letter itself.
